you wouldnt believe how many times ive been told to take off the B&M sticker, but it was already on the car when i got it, and i told the previous owner and very good friend that i'd leave it on til i either get new fenders or a paintjob.

so the sticker stays for now.

im gonna be dropping the front another collar tomorrow, probably.

--anyone know if its possible, safety-wise, to remove all collars from a coilover?

i know which car he was talking about, i have both of those pictures on my computer in WV and posted them up to him and asked his opinion.

but im not doing that flare, i dont have volks, my cars not black, and itd cost me well over a grand to get a silfront that i actually want.

im in the market for some skirts, though theyre not urgent. id rather get a nice seat and start piecing together some boost setup.

I added them in case people wanted to see.

priorities are in order, boost and a seat are a sharp move.

I'd be honored

Kentucky's holset build thread

kentucky knows everything there's to know, thats an amazing thread.

its about sourcing the perfect turbo. when it comes to picking the turbine housing for your KA, email me. I have a Calculator that I can use with compressor maps, to tell you how much boost you get at each rpm. and what hp/torque you can expect through the powerband.

or i can just show you how to use it, which is even better. but I dont want to fill your thread with techno jargon.

log manifold, custom dp, (or buy the ebay manifolds and dp and reinforce the welds at a muffler shop. ) move your maf, air filter... turbo lines from earl's fitting or jegs. a JWT rom tune... and thats it.

I have an interest in this setup as well. And, there is never anything wrong with 'techno jargon' as long as its ok with Aaron to post it in his thread.

oh no doubt, I'll wait for him to come back.

but yes Holset is the truth

they're built to handle 5.3 liter diesel engines and last 100,000 miles. and Kentucky testified that his hx35 spools just as quick as the gt2871 he was using!!!

I just hope the following doesn't grow to big, because then the ricer tax will be added, and our little secret is over.

post the jargon as much as you want.

Project, 18x9.5 +12 offset. you couldve found that like, two pages back.

i wanna be able to piece together a decent little setup worthy of around 250 to the wheels without blowing the bank. ya'dig?

lay out some options, mang.

would that be feasible with like. an ebay manifold/DP, t28, front mount, SR injectors, z32 maf and enthalpy or something? perhaps an SAFC instead for cheapness?

i still have a feeling a simple t28 setup will be easier overall, and maybe even cheaper, since id just have to get an sr downpipe, run of the mill manifold, front mount kit, etc

hey man, ill prob run a holset too. we had an h1c layin around in the shop i think im gonna throw on mine. ive done a ton of research on them and its the way too go. plus there dirt cheap. you might want to look for an hy35 off of an 2000-2005 cummings. its got the compressor of an hx40, but has an 9cm^2 exhaust housing for faster spooling, the hx35 has a 12cm^2 exhaust housing. here check out this link, its awesome http://dodgeram.org/tech/dsl/FAQ/turbo_faq.htm

or browse thru this thread. the dsm guys have been using these for awhile since they bolt up to the stock t3 flange.

i need another stock exhaust for my coupe, i did an alginment on mine the other day to get more camber in the front, and less in the rear, and ended up getting my exhaust caught on one of the jacks that hang on the alignment rack.

i went to back off a few times and it just kept catching. so i think i successfully bent part of my exhaust. and one of the hangars was already snapped off the piping so its all crooked, and it taps/rubs on my drivers side toe arm and one of the brackets for the rear muffler.

piiiiiiissed. handles so awesomely now though.

Pics of massive clean and window visors? Which section of pipe is it? I have more exhaust pieces if you are just trying to have something to hold you over until turbo. Trunk lid and exhaust now dood. We can weld something here if you want. Oh yeah, any luck on the splash guards for my s14?

red Work lugs with locking lugs, to i240. had a sweet deal to get the lugs with the wheels so i went for it.

havent had a chance or money to pick up some splash guards yet, i can try to get some asap though. i THINK, i just need to get another stock exhaust, cat and catback. mines been through hell and a better one would be great.

a couple pictures from the weekend
