well, i got this coupe about a month after i wrecked my black one (sig) in april of 08. its been a drawn out process for the amount of stuff ive done, mostly because i wasnt legally allowed to drive for 6 months of the past almost year.

so ill say about 8 months, if you actually compressed all the time that was actually doing stuff regularly, id say about a month. but between work and having no motivation due to no drivers license, everything got stretched out.

thanks man, i still think it should be half an inch lower. granted, i cant even get my first index knuckle between my tire and fender, i only want a credit card to be able to slide in there.

That's cool. If you need a break around lunch time, or even after 5 or so, give me a call. Again, if you have any problems, give me a call...I will work something out to do what I can. Keep in mind that I will be the project manager for a church project in Stafford starting in May or June. I am sure I will be in the area at least once a month and could easily meet up with you. Good luck on your journey.

THATS WHAT IM SAYIN

since i drooped the springs from the get-go, im gonna use my one and only coilover wrench and lower each corner, one at a time, by threading the body into the bracket. i think itll work.

Kevin, ill be leaving tomorrow around 8am, or so im planning.

for a 5-6 hour trip to stafford, itll take about four to get near you. so if its around noon or something ill hit you up as long as you can help me find my way back to 33 i think.

replaced the passenger side tension rod due to near failure, and loosened the drivers side bolt through the bushing so theyre both tightened at full compression. feels A LOT nicer. not nearly as bouncy or bumpy. its awesome.

also, i have to wait til i get my new adjusting wrenches so i can drop the car another 1/4 or 1/2" more. it feels nice though.

im moving back to virginia tomorrow, drivin' this badass for 5 hours or so on backroads and stuff. i hope its really nice.

discuss.

my cometic headgaskets giving me more problems. i havent leaked any oil out of the side since retorquing the headstuds, but now im leaking into cylinder one, super fouled spark plug, and 120psi for that cylinder for the compression test.

im wanting to just put a felpro on there to get rid of the MLS HG problems, but im not sure if the stock 89mm bore felpro will work alright with the .020" overbore

motors running a hell of a lot better now, replaced spark plugs and fuel filter, and put a KADE fuel rail on since apparently i had an SR rail since i first swapped the DE into my black pignose.

ill be posting later today/this evening with pictures of the new stance.
