silvia face for the win... you can slap the piggy lip unto the Silvia bumper

or sell the oem bumper and go with version select.

shazaam.

whatchu think about work XD9s in the 18x10 variety. now that ill be slingin' dough i think ill pick up a set.

and i figure, in going for the look of that black silvia we've discussed previously, i'll go for a different lip on the regular silvia bumper, some chuki or silvia skirts and a rear bumper of some form.

eh?

its been awhile since i stopped in here and its looking really good. i wanted to add slightly to kalypso's post halfway up the page about homemade turbo setups. one thing i will say is watch the cost of materials. i recently built a homemade log manifold and its pretty straightforward and can be cheap if you go with mild steel. i went with stainless and it was still cheap then a treadstone cast mani but and ss head flange alone is about $100-150. and the only amendment i'd make to the list is change the greddy bov to an hks one. but thats just based on my opinion and experience. if you want to check it out, my build documents my do it yourself turbo setup. i'll add it all up when i'm done but it looks like i'll have about $900 into my turbo setup not including injectors and tune, and this is with a $350 turbo

ive got like -2.6 degrees of camber in the front. probably around the same, i think -2.4 in the rear. and i try to keep toe as close to 0.00 as possible.

other than that, i just play with my fenders a lot. a LOT.

VIRGINIAPS, where are you located? find me.

Kevin, how long is your driveway? i might just leave it on the streeeet. haha

Did you get the third brake light figured out?

Buy your sil parts and get everything sprayed. Do it. I talked to the guy again today and they will be tied up with the '57 for a few months, so you have some time to find the sil front.

BTW, I told you that you would not get in the driveway. I did not think about the bridge though

Pics mang!!

ill have the new pictures this weekend.

also, another photoshoot this weekend at the same time.

QUESTION:

ive now blown two seals in two different slave cylinders. if im using advance auto parts slaves with a stage III clutch, would that be the problem?

seems like it. or maybe im just having bad luck with the parts im using.

is there a better alternative to deal with the stiffer pressure plate?

ive got two collars off each front coilover.

just have one ring above the perch to act as the spring seat AND the lock ring for the perch.

i dropped it the third collar by putting the spring seat rubber on the perch and a ring under the perch as the lock ring, but i wasnt even able to roll :[

SLAVE CYLINDER ADVICE PLEASE.

I had a stage 3 and my nabco clutch slave was always fine.

are you using nabco? they're oem spec I wouldnt trust an autozone slave.

i think it's the parts you're using since people have ran stage 3 clutches on their stock slave cylinders with no apparent problems(or at least not blowing two slave cylinders in a row). I don't know the quality of the slave cylinders you're using but I know a lot of this reman stuff at your local autoparts stores can be garbage. I'd try an OEM or nismo slave cylinder.

nice pics btw, I still don't know how you turn without burning your front tires up on your fenders

theres rumors that a z31 slave cylinder is stronger. idk if thats true but its cheaper and it fits.

i dont turn without burning my front tires up on off-and-on ramps.

the first one probably got messed up because it sat with no fluid in it for months before i put it on my red coupe. the second one that blew was probably because it was autozone.

im gonna see how the advance auto one turns out and go from there, i just wanna know what step i should take if this one happens to crap out on me too.

ill have the new pictures tomorrow!

and i had another half a photoshoot today!

PARKED UNDER A TRUCK WITH ANOTHER 240.
