(You guys haven't gotten rid of me yet LOL!)

My b-day present from my mom arrived...

The gas pedal is positioned weird over the stock pedal, but it was the most secure placement...

This car is definitley an original. Godd work and way to stick to your design. It takes a lot of patience and planning to put something like this together.

I really liked the carbon fiber look to them, but I also figured that when I get to putting my LEDs under the dash, they'll shine back the blue color very well!

I probably won't be able to pay for any more Camel mods until we get back from Seattle (so probably in September I'll either do my diagonal stripes... I'll really excited about those!)

Hey Kimber, I also plan on getting LEDs for the looks of it. What are your plans regarding that. All blue ? Red on one side, blue on the other ? Blue in the front, red in the back ? Where will you put them ?

As for me, I'll probably put four orange (same as dashboard) 6-inch LEDs under the front seats, pointing in front and backwards. It'll light up the mats, but it'll be less aggressive as putting them under the dashboard (more diffused). I've seen a pack on eBay which even has a controller (fade, music triggered, ...)

I was thinking of a 15" under each side of the dash, a 9" over the cupholders, two 15" across the back under the lip of the back seats, and one 15" across the top (over the cargo area), one 15" across the cargo door, and two 9" in the cargo area - all in blue.

Then I want to get red underbody.

All LEDs, and all legal in KY because they won't be able to strobe (so no music module for me)

I realize that it may seem like overkill, but with the blue, it's really hard to light up the interior enough to see so I'm hoping that by totally flooding it, it'll be visible. I will leave my blue LED in the dome light and leave the map lights white (for reading - much easier).

I have no idea why I am so fascinated with glowing (ricer?) but I really like it... so *shurg*

but I won't do that until I am done with Camel's exterior... I want to get my spoiler and stripes next... then my iPod hookup...

eeeh, I have so much I want to do to ol' Camel!

(we never know, I may change my mind once I get around to the lights ;oD)

Umm... I'm on the showoff list on CarDomain... I found out yesterday when I got Travis' message... crazy! I'll be posting pics today of my progress on the headlights... Which won't be back on the car for a finished shot till tomorrow...

Code Red says I'm brave... I just think I'm stupid ;oD

Here goes a good hundred dollars of oh-crap if I mess up...

I can't actually start till 2 (which is in an hour and a half) because I need two people to remove the bumper and Josh is sleeping till 2... But I'm so excited!!!

I'll give you guys my opinion of bosoversa's method when they're back on the car... But I am so greatful that he finally posted that tut!!

you dont really have to remove the bumper all the way. although it is easier now that i think about it. i can get the bumper off in about 3 minutes now seeing as how ive done it about 5 times.

and is the cost you mentioned the dremel?

nope... the cost mentioned was for if I have to purchase new headlights ;oD

it is now 5:30, and due to the fact that my housemate is a procrastinator, so far all that I have accomplished is becoming a Dremel owner.

hehehehe!!

Headlight + Eyebrow... what do you think?

I also left the marker light area chrome so that all three lit areas matched. I really hate the color of the marker light... I think I might make it red... Time to call the DOT officer back and see if that's legal...

It is illegal because it is not yellow.

nope! (ever see the side of the old Greyhounds...)

I checked with my DOT officer.

Besides, in extreme conditions, it reflects white.

waitwaitwait... I just realized you were probably referring to the marker light and not the reflective bit... (sorry)You may be right... but we'll see what he says. Possibly if it is white no one would notice or say anything? There's really no reason for me to turn on just my parking lights and when the headlights are really doing their thing I'm sure other cars don't notice the yellow light.... hmmm...

I think this would be a good time to recommend everyone watch Daniel Radcliffe on Extras - http://youtube.com/watch?v=brgbo01GFxw

Wanna hear something awesome?

I'm getting my spoiler (just ordered it) courtesy of ol' bailiff. Rodney decided to give me a late b-day present (since we really weren't dating during my b-day).

So... this is on it's way!

kind of a dumb question, but why do you have 2 different license plates?

Back to the pictures, I'm not a huge fan of the window wing, but I think it would look great on your car. The red is a nice touch, too.

well, in Kentucky we aren't required to have a front plate. The one on the front of my car is from when I first commissioned my license plate (in 2000) and the plates have changed twice since then (the one before had a retarded sun with a smiley face...). On the back is the current plate, but I choose to carry my original plate. In Kentucky, the personalized plate stays with the driver, so I've never had to turn any of my plates in (even when I junked my Loyale).
