This is guy is pretty good. Flooding the forums will hopefully get some results. But until the masses find out about it via a Yahoo article, Treyarch will drag it's feet. They know Xbox is their money maker. Mommy and Daddy will always open the purses and wallets for their little Xbox brats, whether it's half-assed games or $15 DLC. They are following IW/Activision's business tactics to the letter.

A month patch turnaround time??? Are you serious?? And of course, it's the month when the holidays are here, everyone is off from school, and some serious gaming can be done.

the online disconnecting and freezing issues on the ps3 are unbelievable. its absolutely horrendous to think that resistance 2 had 30 on 30 matches and not even half the problems that blops has. if it doesnt improve soon, ill totally be ditching this game for something else. maybe moh. i borrowed it from someone and the online for it isnt too bad at all.

I think it has gotten worse too. If a party of any # tries to join a game. Usually 1 or more people end up missing. Freezing is an issue while laoding the level. And whats with the getting kicked and landing in theater or combat training with the checkerboard background? Its frustrating, but serious gaming will continue.

Yeah it is ridiculous. And when you do get into a game, you never know what the condition of the game's connection will be.

The most aggravating thing for me is:
- Spending 20mins to find a game
- Getting there and it takes 3 74-u bullets to kill some one
- Beating the enemy badly, and with 6mins left, the score is 5000 to 2500 and you playing vs 2 people
- The game ends 6400 to 3500 (wasting all 10 mins)
- Going to the lobby again and no one joins
- Backing out and starting the process again
- Finally finding another game and it takes 5-6 74-u bullets to kill some one

This game has provided me with so much rage it's unbelieveable. Consistency is not there. I will be playing this game once a week or so, but replacing the bulk of my gaming time with MW2 instead of Blops. This is bull s***.

Dude trust me, it's on Xbox as well. The game's multiplayer is unplayable for 90% of people out there.

It has gotten so sad, that me and a few buddies have started playing combat training... :tisk:

Haha, no doubt. I look at my friends list, and all I see is everyone playing combat training or campaign.

There is absolutly no excuse for the connection problems and unplayability. It was horrid last night. I swear, it's getting worse by the day. I'm running an open NAT, directly to a cable DSL modem, and it makes no difference.

It would be really cool of Activision if they stepped-up and offered some free DLC after all this is said and done.

It hasnt been that terribly bad to the point of no return for me as RCA says, just annoying. Eventually it works consistantly or just staying in the room works goodly too. Guess Im lucky for once..

Downlaoded the new patch yesterday I believe 1.05

After 1.04 I realized that if you are in a pregame lobby and you press X on a name to see their emblem, when you press O leave cancel it goes to the screen like when you press triangle, so you have to press O twice. That was annoying but fixed now.

....Still having same connection issues though

Judging by the complaints I'm hearing I'm actually kinda glad that I don't have this yet. The connection issues that you are all describing are the same issues we had with OFP:Dragon Rising, then Codemasters had the balls to charge us for the DLC with the patches built in. I'm just going to stick with BFBC2.

One of the most aggravating things for me is times like today where I was doing pretty well with 4000+ points on headquarters then everyone got booted out of the match for losing connection to the host and I lost all my points

And I feel you on the rage. I actually broke a battery pack from throwing my controller. I shoot a guy 3 times in the head with my commando before he even gets off one shot and somehow I DIE!!!!

^YES, I hate that! I have also hit people what seems like 10 times a distance away and they still dont die.

I think you still get the points and counts for kills and killstreaks, and the only thing you lose is bonus points and/or match points. Still though... points are points

Was playing today for about an hour or two, and the connection was actually pretty good. Lot of noobs on, I'm guessing they just got it for Xmas. Getting some insanely easy kills, K/D of about 35-40/5-10. Then all of a sudden, game locks up, got a black screen, then the game flat out crashes. Sure enough, servers are down.

If it's because they are repairing the connection problems, then fine. But if it's because they couldn't handle the influx of new gamers online, then Treyarch/Activision is a f***ing joke. Am I to believe they didn't anticipate that?

Yeah the holidays are great for gamers... Soo many noobbbs!

As for the servers...
I don't want to hear it Activision/Treyarch, you just eclipse $1 billion in sales; you better have a fu*king working game that lives up to the hype.

"Oh, well we are working on the servers"
- Fu*k you then, I want my $60 back. I will return my $60 after this game gets out of beta

Wow I missed that. I actually have not been on BO all day, just GT5. Hopefully its for the better. I do love all the noobs though lol. Easy kills help out alot with the overall K/D ratio. Noobs = WIN (in this case)

True dat.

Weird thing happened tonite. Got back online a few hours after the server crash. Everything's fine. Capping heads like I was before. Bunch of my friends get on, we try to invite each other, doesn't work. AS USUAL. We try different party hosts, still doesn't work. Whatever, we play our own games. Our one friend comes on. We haven't seen him online since Black Ops came out. Come to find out, the blu-ray laser on his PS3 died the day after the game came out, and he just got it back from being repaired.

So now he's ready to rock. I get an invite from him. I'm thinking, ok, it isn't going to work, but I'll try. And sure enough, I'm in his lobby. What the deuce? Then one by one, all of our friends start joining the lobby. We're all like, WTF?? Since the game came out, not one of us has been able to join a party. My boy is like, what's the problem? He's been out of the loop, doesn't know how it is. Whatever. The 8 of us start rocking some Ground War. And there was ZERO connection problems. No lag, no drop-outs, nothing. It's just like the good old days we all had on the other COD's. 4 hours straight, nothing but fun.

He has to go. So we try to start a new party up without him. And we can't. Tried different hosts. Still can't. So now I'm scratching my head. Did it have something to do with him having a repaired PS3? But that's just hardware, nothing to do with the network. He's in north Jersey, the rest of us are south Jersey/Philly. But that shouldn't matter, either. And he's got a moderate Nat. Most of us are open and moderate. No strict. WTF??!!

I don't think I've ever been this frustrated with a videogame. I'm done with it for awhile. Wake me when the DLC comes out. OH, I FORGOT. The DLC coming out on Feb. 1 is only for Xbox. The rest of us has to wait until March.

Yeah, it wasn't long. Tried it two hours later, and it was fine. It's definitely noob city, though. And a lot of them are trying to snipe, as if it's MW2. Too funny!

And I may just have to go pick up GT5, if only to keep my sanity.

^^ One of my friends who is a big gamer said that BO doesnt play on launch PS3's, like it F's the PS3 up or something. I've never heard of that before... Of course we have to wait. Trayarch doesnt give a SIHT about PS3 gamers.

^ lol yeah definantly alot of snipers. God Im glad they fixed that too. The amount of people online also almost doubled on xmas. GT5 is great too. Its long and hard (no h0m0). It has little issues like any game but definantly worth the money IMO

I guess the amount of noobs do have drawbacks. I died so many times from tubers today and it was really pissin me off. Theyre still drop shot'n, RPG'n, tubin on every life, and trynna camp behind stuff all the time in the same spot. People (kids) still play like its MW2, its not that game anymore!!! Play it like a game and run around runnin and gunnin like everyone else does phaggots!

Sooooooo annoying on TDM. When I'm playing something like HQ it's understandable, even acceptable, because the point is to defend the position. But in TDM it's just ridiculous. I've created a new class to help alleviate those pains somewhat.
FN FAL with an ACOG and supressor, ghost and ninja perks. That way they can't rely on the radar to see if someone is passing by. It doesn't completely prevent it, but I've found that it does help quite a bit.

Thanks for that info, RCA. I'll pass it on to my friends.

I don't even bother with TDM. I've just been sticking to Domination. The camping is almost minimal, and you get decent match bonuses. Some tubin here and there, but it isn't that bad. I'm definitely starting to see more RPG's, though.

I actually miss the sniping/camping of MW2. I loved creeping around the edge of the map, stalking those bastards, and delivering a knife to their back. Wasteland was the best.

AHHHHH! Wasteland was the worst!

I usually stick to Domi too. I always used to play TDM or free for all in MW2 but now I play mostly Domi. It gives more points and allows for unlimited kill cap. Same for demolition. It just depends on time

I used to play only TDM for the longest time. Then around level 44 or so I was playing with some friends and they wanted to play HQ. After that, it became my default game mode and I started branching out. You can get sooooo many points in the other games modes, I wish I would have discovered them sooner. Would've made leveling up go a LOT faster.

Yes in fact there is HC FFA. There is also HC TDM, capture the flag, and I think search & destroy. There is also Barebones but I think you have to prestige atleast once. There is also a section for 15 prestige only, its a badass emblem too. Ive only seen 1 or 2 so far.

The Pure mode sounds like total win, no kill/death streaks, no perks just you and your primary, secondary, and grenades to get the job done. Awesome.

Oh and the 15th Prestige emblem is totally bad a**, but frankly that is way to time intensive to even try to get...
