why oh why would you buy an audi to daily. IDK if you've ever tried to work on an audi, but next to everything is a hassle to do. Jobs that would normally take an hour, take about twice as long to get done on that car. Case and point, yesterday I had to replace an o2 sensor (Bank 2 Sensor 1) and needless to say i had to remove the coolant tank, push away some fuel lines, just to get somewhat near the o2 sensor. I had to cut away the wires, and it was ziptied in about 1000000 places, which i had to reziptie in a way that it would be able to move (Engine to chasis = lot of movement). Idk I'm just sayin cause I know you said you learned about cars by working on them, and I don't think an audi is a car that anyone who works on their own cars should own. f*** My boss bought a fixer upper a4, and when he finally fixed it. No one would buy it. Now his wife drives it. Fancy that.

But damn your old zenki looks dope. And yours keeps getting sicker. props

You still got the KA?

Would you want to sell it by any chance if you still have it?

thanks Nytovaok.. i'm not anyone's hero tho lol

KA sold for $400 the other day

as for the Audi, the previous owner dumped like $3500 into the car a couple months before we bought it, clutch, maintainance, etc... so there's no worries.... the Audi is just a DD man... nothing special, but it's nice to have a little knock around car with leather, woodgrain, sunroof, BOSE audio, 2.8V6, 4 doors, 6 disk CD changer, ice cold AC, heated black leather seats, AWD, and 5 speed... for $3k, I'm not complaining...

oh, and tomorrow 'll be picking up a little S10 Ext cab 5 spd...

i'll get good with the coupe, as i'm a novice now... i could car less with if hit a wall with a S13... my S14 on the other hand, if i wrecked this one.. it would be the end of my 240 life and i would probably go home, light some candles, run a hot bath and cut myself, down the highway and not across the street to get it done right...... and i'd move on to 350's or something...

something similar happened to me too. the ground wire for the coil pack sub harness had gotten pinched in the vc. i'm pretty sure i have spare coil packs if you need one.

already replaced the coil pack, and the harness... i had two of each sitting in my parts shelf... thank god i hadn't sold em yet...

i did a little test today on the 240.... i took some brake parts cleaner, and sprayed all vac/boost sources, couplers, vac lines... and nothing happened... car barely runs, UNTIL i spray the air filter... spray that, and the car idles right on up and purrrrrrs like a kitten... no where else tho, only the air filter... would this be an indecator or a bad MAF? or something else???

one thing i CANNOT understand, is why my wideband pegs out lean, yet the exhaust smells like a gas pump... i mean, it might as well have gasoline dripping out the exhaust....

white comet, we'll do the deal with the mani, but give me a couple days to let the heat cool down... been spending a lot of money lately.. just got drilled and slotted rotors for the Audi, with ceramic pads, and some projector HID's (not real HID's though) for the S10 (needed cause my pass side bulb was burned, and the ebay lights were the same price as a replacement bulb lol... a couple days and i'll scoop em up, and ship the mani... then i have to find a source for my coolant return lol

lol, I was hoping you knew. Im not sure what caused it. My harness for the coil pack was pinched between the valve cover so I moved that out of the way. I also then replaced the valve cover gasket and the spark plug gasket. Im still not sure if any of this actually fixed the problem but I haven't had any coil packs melt since then.

okay, weird.... check this out

replaced a fuse in the engine bay, ENG i believe, the 7.5 one, and plugged in my stock SR auto ECU, and blammo... no problems, car idles fine, boost fine, spins first second and half of third... odd...

i thinking the guy who hard wired the consult serial port into my other ECU might have f***ed something up.... looks like i'll be rocking the auto ECU for a while... time to keep an eye on my RPMS cause with that Fidanza, and that power, it got up to 7.5K+ quick....

okay, so i got tired of buying and selling s***, so i finally did some work... first time i've worked on my car in about a week, something must be wrong with me....

so we all know what my ECU setup looked like before.... just a big big mess on my floor board....

time to clean things up.... ECU is in, consult ports are arranged, all is well...

CLEAN!!! USB data cable plugplugged in...all cleaned up... OEM "240SX" floor mats FTW!!consult port tucked away... still accesable by Nissan if need be...

i know, it's not much, but it's something, and i think i did a pretty fair job of it...
