ITB setup sounds like a lot of work.I want an engine setup where i don't have to do ANYTHING to it EVER.

i've always thought itb's looked cool, but never had any desire to do it myself cuz of all the work and then getting the ecu tuned for that.

i dont know of any magical engines that never have problems. lemme know if you get one, cause ill take 2.kidding, but the car has tons of potential and i do like the color...its less drift flavor but deff classy.goodshow

i did a itb setup on my ka in my s14 before i went kat. really woke the engine up. only thing though is i wasnt running cams, or a header. only cost me $200 for the entire setup, and took me about a week to do from start to finish. i never had any problems either. made a plenum, and ran off the stock maf. instead of it dying off at 5500 rpms, i could rev to the limiter and still pull if i wanted. now, only imagine what cams, header, and a nice tune would do. NASTY.

heres a pic for reference....

EDIT: he beat me to it, but yeah, the result look very much like what he's done there

white comet, i have seen where a guy made a setup for his ka24de using a halfed stock manifold mated to 4 throttlebodies from what i think was a hayabusa and coupled it with a jwt ecu. looked decent and not over complicated...finding cheap tb's would be the catch id think. might be somthing youd want to check out, dunno.

the photo above is my old setup. stock ecu, with an safc to lean it out. advanced the base timing yada yada.... itbs were from a gsxr 750 and cost me $100 locally from a guy on ebay. emailed him and picked them up 10 miles from my house. if i were to do it again, i would go with a custom made manifold, megasquirt, map sensor, v2 cams, a nice header, and velocity stacks ran open .

Been watching some ASB 4 vids. Gnarly a** night and fun a** day. I am very excited for this upcoming one. I think I should buy an SR for this.

Holy s*** that is f***ing sick!

Do you have any other documented information about said setup?

Pictures as well. You can leave info and pictures in my thread. That is bad a**! When i buy an SR i think i will rebuild the KA for that!
