well here are the pics that I was able to take. one of the pics have a penny in it, you could definitely fit one more penny there if you wanted.

Dear Customer, Have you tried to rotate the wiring 180 degree and plug in again? Since the LED is polar sensitive, it means that of the power terminals are not matching correctly, the LED will not light up. (+ with + and - with -) Please go ahead try that and if the problem remains, let us know and we will exchange for you. For any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at anytime.

Yea you should test them before closing everything up. LEDs will work in one direction, if it doesn't turn on, then switch the wires and try again. This is usually the issue.Where did you buy the strips from?

Dun forget to post pics

I just connected the wires form the LED strips to the fog light connection

they are the black and white wires comming out of the fog light itself

Man how much did you pay for your grille? I was selling mine lol

if I don't sell the grille, I will probably paint the inside bars of the E&G classic grille to match the car.

Then maybe some white interior led strips on the floors

sorry to bump...

I just finished mounting the LED's.

Now... does it matter which end of strip you plug the wires in?

Ugh I suck at wiring. Mine are not working. ..... I tried plugging it other way... and it doesnt work. I guess I'll just wait till Sat and give it another shot.

This mod took forever. i bought a set of he 19" strips from Oznium and followed the instructions posted on the TECH pages.

these LEDS strips. You just need to cut off 12 of the lights or 4 sections of "3." http://www.oznium.com/led-flex-strips

Getting the front bumper cover to line up and fit while squishing the led strips in between the cover lip and headlights was a PITA. but they look grat.

the wiring i ran around the bumper foam, soldered to the other strip nd through the firewall. I hooked the power wire into the cigarette lighter or power plug for full DRL effects. I also have the bottom LED strips too, might have to remove those, too many LEDS in the front looks weird.

UPDATE: 05/13/09So my lights started tripping out..

http://www.nissanclub.com/foru....html

i don't know if i'll reinstall them, but the good thing is Oznium is sending me a replacement for these 2. Anyone else have an issue with this type of strips where they are enclosed and completely waterproof?

it doesnt matter which end you plug it into, but it does matter if the connector is upside down or not. so unplug it from the strip, and flip the wire, and plug it back in. There's a chance you had the positive going to the negative side

Thank you. I got it working. I didnt do LED under headlight housing... I did LED above fog lights. I tried LED under headlight but didnt like the way it looked when the lights were off so I used those LEDs for foot well.

I followed Ursus' diagram. (Pictured below)

I connect black wire to power and grounded black with white strip wire and it didnt work. So I just reverse the wiring and it worked. It actually looks better than I expected! Hehe thanks for help guys.,

I'm just curious if anyone has thought or tried using a photosensor in combination with the switch? This way it would be mainly turned on or off depending on the light but then a manual override can be used with the switch?

i bought the waterproof flexible silicone encased led strips and wanted to hook them up, but when i opened up the box today to check them out they had positive and negative wires on both ends of the led strip.

i went to hook it up to a 12v battery to see if it would work. i only used one side and they lit up all the leds.

my question is: would i be able to cut off the wires on one side or do i have to leave it there

i have another question.

i just hooked up the lights straight to my battery until my switch comes. my question is, the lights won't go off for some reason, even when the car is off, the lights remain on, do you guys have any idea why this happens?

It's because you hooked them up straight to the battery.

What I did was I ran them into the cabin through the firewall, and spliced them into the CIG lighter power.

Here is the color for the CIG Lighter plug in the front of the console.

It'll be the only plug on the fuse block on thie diagram colord RED with a black strip. you just need to tap it, then connect a ground to a spot under the sterring wheel area.
