Can you start a build thread on your 240sx? a lot f people on the forums contemplate on doing lsx swaps but sometimes dont have enough information. Your build thread would be helpful to a lot of people if created.

Sorry twistedsymphony, I meant no disrespect to your research. I've read over that parts list my fair share of times while following the build threads and drooling to a degree on silviav8.com. I should have put a direct link to the thread, but I didn't, and for that I apologize. I quoted it because it is so good, and for the benefit of all those people who aren't members of silviav8forums.com

@levno worries man, I write a lot of guides and I've had a lot of them ripped off with other people taking credit, so it's kind of a pet peeve of mine... you obviously were taking credit but just passing on the info.

@sil180_chrisI'm not really on NICO that much, I only tuned into this thread because someone sent me a link.

I've got build threads on 3 other forums though (240sxone, silviav8, and xbox-scene) and I post updates on occasion on my personal blog http://solid-orange.com

the most up-to-date in regards to the LS1 swap is the 240sxone build thread though.

like I said before, I've been writing detailed guides for the various aspects of the swap, because of that I really don't think a build thread would be all that beneficial once all is said and done.

For those that are interested I've been documenting the wiring here:http://forums.240sxone.com/showthread.php?t=7091

the project should be wrapping up soon

My plan is to get the wiring done by Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon a friend of mine is coming by to help finish up the fuel lines.

once that's done I need to reinstall the accessories and the cooling system and it should be ready to start up and run.

then it's a matter of waiting for my drive shaft and getting an exhaust made up before its back on the road.
