She says its one of the biggest weekends this month( $18,000).

If any of you guys are in retail you will understand.

Anyways, Camel is there anyway you can credit me back??

***Note: I will be selling my 240sx project. I will post details this weekend. My family is in need of some cash. I am trying to help them out.***

I was wondering if you were going to come Blaine, it will be great to have you there and thanks for stepping up to fill Marcos' spot. And thanks for hooking me up on the cam, you get an extra burger or two for that. Hehehe.....

MARCOS - As soon as Blaine takes your place, consider yourself refunded. Sorry that you can't make it out. But it was good to meet you at Drift Atlanta. (Even though you were glued to the video camera the entire time.)

Guys, i can't wait for Saturday, less than a week away. Looks like my old 91 might even show up. I called the kid today to let him know about the meet.

Any of you yung uns need a parent to sign off on you coming can get in touch with me via email and I will talk to your parents. I am already going to talk to one kids dad tomorrow. And i won't tell anyone that i had to do that, don't worry.

I put on my ASP pulley tonight with the help of a good buddy and absolutely love it. Shaves off like 7-9 pounds off the driveline and I can't feel any harshness or vibration or increased noise because of it. Awesome is all i have to say........

Hopefully I will have my Stainless Brake Lines done as well as a wash and wax before the meet also. Anyone else cleaning up for the meet?

Also, if anyone in the ATL knows of a 95 for sale for a decent price, I am looking for one for my buddy right now. Busted motor is not a problem. Just no major body damage and no salvage titles. Email me with details if you got 'em. I am going to post a wtb in the b/s/t/ forum also.

Hey is this thing going to be a rain or shine type of thing. There is shelter at the overlook correct? I'd hate for people to not come because of a little rain and then it clears up.

chit yeah, rain or shine.

I have worked to hard to get this together to cancel for rain. Besides, the shelter holds 90 people.

For those that need directions you can call the Lanier Office from the website that is in the first post or you can use this link:

http://www.mapquest.com/maps/m...rch++

It will put you at "The DAM Store". Upper Overlook is roughly a half mile west on Buford Dam Road. It is on the south side of the road away from the lake's edge.

If you cross over the dam coming from the Dam Store, you have gone too far.

The road goes up a hill and between some small one story buildings and doglegs to the left. You will see the shelters at that point.

Anyone else that is having problems finding directions, let me know.

Also, I am bringing my "TIP JAR" to help cover my costs in setting this up. So please bring a couple of bucks to throw in the jar if you can afford it. All of those with KAT's and SR/RB/CA swaps are exempt becuase we know you don't have any money left. (Just Kidding, everyone should help out a little.) Besides, I will throw a some food and drink your way for some help.

Last chance to get a reserved parking space is Friday. For those of you that donated, show up as early as possible. The parks folks have told me if the lot fills up, we have to give up any leftover spaces and then they lock down the lot as full. So I would get there in plenty of time. Don't show up at 4 in other words if you can help it.

Can't wait till Saturday, should be a load of fun.

If people want to do that, we need to start thinking about it now. We will be there till 5 or 6 or whenever it breaks up.

You can only rent the pavilion and the lot is first come first serve. but this lot is not that highly used and i can reserve a few spots for the donators. the rest is a total of 62 spaces plus some etra road area where you can park. we should have enough. but there may be a few honda accords mixed in with other park goers.

I am the high bidder right now. I will be sure to talk it up to everyone I know. I didn't really want to buy it but I wanted to show my support for you. Somebody else go ahead and trump me with a 102 dollar bid.

Copied from the meet thread:

Rain or Shine, I will be there just like the USPS. We have the facility reserved and it fits 90 people. Only 60 odd parking spaces are going to be available, and that is first come first serve. I am going to block a couple off for the original donators.

Guys, just to let you know, you do not have to pay to come. I have had that question alot. If you plan to eat without paying, bring some food to cook on the grill or whatever. I will also be accepting donations for food and the like. Just be courteous about other people's supplies and donate accordingly. If you want a hotdog and a coke, drop a dollar in the bucket so we can send someone down the street to get more when we run out. Simple as common sense.

I am really excited about seeing all of y'all this weekend. I am talking to a local performance shop about giving us the hookup on discounted dyno runs for that afternoon. Or maybe discount coupons for our group. We will see how that pans out when I talk to the owner tomorrow.

If that doesn't work out we can do dyno runs in Peachtree City for $55 for 3 pulls. They usually do it on Saturdays.
