From the last I heard..... They wanted Bob, from versaspeed to buy 500 short shift kits. Now that's not really worth it to Bob because we all know damn well that there isn't 500 of us that want it. The supply is there just no demand.

^^^^^^^^^^^???????????

I know nothing about anything included in the above statement........ and I own Racingline.

Things are moving forward but got held up due to a few other projects on the go. Should have the test car back in next weekend to see how things work out.

Hmm, maybe I was mis-informed.

Mind shooting me an Email with any details?

Where did I hear this before?

No, I still don't think that's it either..
Racingline wrote:things are moving, albeit slowly, tings are very busy around here but I should have the sample ready to install by next weekend
Oh yeah that's where I heard it. I'm just kidding. I can't wait for it to come out.

Not trying to start s*** or be mean but you guys even said it yourselves, you weren't interested anymore. If there isn't any possibility of a profit margin then they won't make it.

this project is still in the works, I've emailed the test car several times to come back to finish up the prototype but have not gotten a response. Looks like I'll need to find a car to finish the work on.

i know what your sayin, it just sux when something is gonna come out then it gets held back and doesn't even end up happening. i saved the money towards the header i just got instead. im interested in the short shifter still, but im not gonna put money aside when i can put it to good use somewhere else.

is there any more info about this... i would LOVE to see this happen, but it seems as if it just died... should we lay this next to the turbo as well?

we should lay the short shifter with the dynatek manifold, dynatek header, their turbo, the grounding kit, and every other project for the versa.

except uprev, i think they will commit

this is happening, just alot has happened to slow it down. When the Tester finally got back to me I had no time and won't until about thursday.. Was also waiting on the dealer to send in a new cable bracket so we can rework the angles for the new shifter. Prototype should be on the car before the end of next weekend ( as long as the tester can make it in). i know it looks like the project was dropped but it's just slow going. Lots going on around the shop these days

If you are not able to get the other tester in, I would be willing to come in. I live in the Lower Mainland.
