Are you honestly surprised? They probably haven't had anyone sound interested or have had anyone come in to "finish" R&D. Of course it's going to go away.

Also in any MT versa's in the lower mainland BC area want to stop in and let me have a look under the hood. Test cars always get free parts

Well, I've ordered a new shifter assy for the Six Speed and will be working on it so give me a few weeks plus I'll test it in my car to see how it goes. Sound good?

P.S. The rear Disc brakes are amazing!

I emailed him, and according to him, there are several reasons the project hasnt progressed any further. The test car is MIA, and he mentioned that the response was "so-so." The good news: he said that because the summer rush is over, that he would be willing to revisit this. The concept design is done and to fit it to another car would only take about a week.

Lets keep our fingers crossed!

Hey guys just a follow up to let you know this project is not dead. Now that we have some time on our hands, the production ready samples have been sent out to the machine shop to be made up.

If all goes well then the parts will be refitted to our test subjects car and pics posted within the next week and a half. If we're gtg from there then product would be ready around Christmas time.

That's awesome, any aftermarket support is better than nothing.

i'd be interested in a SHORT THROW shift kit, which i assume you are r&d'ing. the stock height of the shifter is fine, but the throws can always be shorter.had one on the spec-v, i loved it! paid $100 for that one.it was just a plate the goes over the exisitng linkage, relocating cable fastening points which shortened distances in the shift.
