I ask that you please read this thread to get the full understanding. My car looking so sexy, i just bought jdm turnsignals as well as drls from a fellow nico member. Now they will sit in my house.

Well fellow Nico members, in four short simple words. My Car is Done. Sure im 18 and the first thought thats going to cross your mind is he was drifting on a wet road into uncoming traffic through a school zone and all that. But thats not the story here. I was performing one of the many tasks everyday drivers do. I was doing a u-turn/j-turn but i was going into a driveway of a scrap yard instead of just turning around on the street, because the street i was on had an overhead train system. I dont know if any of you have ever seen, but the pillars that suppor the train track come down into the street and make the single lane road a very wide road. Cars drive between the pillars and cars park on the outside of the pillars. Me any my friend were infront of a highschool that we know many people go to and we were just chillin in the parking zone of the street. It was 11:30 in the morning so there wasnt any traffic at all, one or two cars every minute. We decided to head back to our school and i proceeded to drive in the parking zone as there were no cars. I signaled left then proceeded up about 15 feet to turn into the driveway. Looked in my mirror but most of the pillars blocked my view of the road itself though i saw nothing coming down the road from where the pillars end and road widened. I Saw nothing going the other way either. I began to turn towards the driveway 3/4ths of my car already passed the double lines in the center, out the corner of my eye i just see a car barreling towards me. Slammed right into the driver side quater panel of my car. Spun me around 180 degrees and my drive side back end grazed a 1998 civic sedan that had no front end and no fenders. It was being fixed so just the bumper support was exposed.

I had 2 other passengers my friend in the front seat had his seatbelt on, and his niece in the back. I usually dont keep my rear seats in at all so it just so happened i put the in the day b4 and didnt take them back out so she was able to ride. The bottom half of the seat which people sit on layed on top of the seatbelt clip because i really had no intention of carrying passengers with the seat in. She had the seatbelf drawn across her but no where to put it in. I told her it was under the seat but she didnt worry about it. As the guy hit my car her she flew from the passenger side hit her head on the driver side quater panel window and bust the glass open as well as her head. Her head was leaking luckily an ambulance was only a block away and they were on the scene took her away she was released late last night with many stiches all over her head. I went to the hospital as well as my friend just to get checked on.

The driver of the Green buick ( sorry i dont have pics of the car on the scene, my friend does he has to send me them) Was arrested because his license was suspended. Here are the pics.

Now some shots of my interior, and where the girl was sitting. All the red stains are her blood

Her blood dripping out the car

Her head banged the glass outward

And last from the inside of my trunk

I was unable to go with the tow truck to park the car at my house, so i told my friend to. To add insult to injury he told me the tow truck guy scuffed my car up against a same color maxima while parking it.

As far as whats going to happen to this coupe, Ill probably take parts off it save the motor and stuff like that, and trash the frame. But i called for a police report a min ago they said its still not in the system. So i have to go down 2morro to get it. I would like to know whats going to happen as far as legal action against this guy providing he has or dosent have insurance.

Wow, that's insane, but you're lucky nobody had any broken bones, etc. How old was the girl and how old do you have to be to legally not wear your seatbelt? Will you get in trouble for that?

Terribe news. But the car is OK, trust me.

Go to a junk yard, grab a coupe with front end damage or whatever.Chenge over the rear sub frame.Cut the quarter panel and weld it in.

THAT'S IT! Now Go look for a donor car.

Theres no age at which u dont wear your seatbelt. You always wear your seatbelt. Police officers are most strict about front passengers wearing thier seatbelts. I forgot to mention after the accident and she realized she was bleeding in a frenzy to get out the car she seatbelt metal part actually hit her in the face as she tried to get it from across her.

I would to save the car, but one in all costs from towing the donor car paying the junkyard, the shop time and all that, it would come out to more than i originally payed for the car which is 1200. And itd prolly cost as much as me buying a new coupe or even an s14.

fuuuuuuuuuck dude... i hope your friend's ok.. damn dude, that sucks...

yeah, I'm thinking the report hasn't been filed yet, you'd probably have to give it a few days or something. Hopefully you have a report number that the cop gave you, they will make things easier for when you have to go to the police station to get the report, otherwise its a b1tch if you dont have the report #.

about the car dude... sucks too, but cars come and go, people dont. Glad to hear your okay dude.

So while you didnt do this while doing something dumb on a public street, you could have taken the extra time to thread the seatbelt clip though the seat.

I forgot to mention the Guy who hit me, about 50 years in age he had glasses on. His daughter im assuming thats who she was, was in the car and she fled the scene. Then she came back about 10 minutes later B4 the cops came. I dont know what this means for me in terms of court but w.e

Your right, me being the driver is responsible for that. But she didnt find it necessary to find it, I told her it was under the seat. Either way i still understand im responsible for that.

The girl is fine now. She had to get alot of stiches. The biggest cut she had needed 9 stiches, then other sizes like 5 stiches and 3, 2.

Thats a bummer what happend to your car im glad to see everyones ok. The city might be diferant but upstate you dont have to wear a seat belt in the back seat if your 16 or older. And you deffently need to get a lawer the guy that hit you allready had a suspended licence he had no right to be driveing and puting other people's life at risk.

yea but i think hes already found a buyer. I wouldnt buy it though. One i dont like hatches and 2 his car sucks. The interior needs help, its an autotragic with a non working motor. I was gonna buy rear suspension parts from him and swap it out but, he sold it so. Hopefully new coupe or Zenki. Or with enough cash from the case an EVO!!! ftw.
