1. He hit you behind the driver's door, which is usually considered to be rear-ending. The driver who is rear-ended is almost never at fault as the courts (at least in VA and NJ, where I've worked traffic) see it.
2. If he has a suspended license and is the driver in an accident, it's automatically considered to be that he is at fault, because he has no legal right to be behind the wheel.

Well to confrim what that person told me, i just got off the phone with my insurance and she also said since i was rear ended im not to be at fault. Also that i should be getting paid for my car, and the fact that this guy had his license suspended just adds to the whole story. So looks like im gettin PAID!
Thanks, Zee. I was starting to think my post was just a figment of my imagination.Zee wrote:First off I am sorry for the lose of you wheels. Second I hope you get the new coupe you want. and here you have already been answered.Thank Fayceoff
Apparently... for being underinsured? Like my passengers tried suing my insurance and he filed a claim also, so my policy couldnt cover both claims, they didnt pay him anything. Now hes suing me personally. But i dont understand why he would do so, when his license was suspended, AND his daughter who is filing for "17000 bodily injury" ran off the scene!!!Razi wrote: What are they sueing you for?
I think his passenger already did sue his insurance comapny, and then the ***hole in the buikc tried afterwards. The insurance company only paid out the first claim(his passenger) so the ***hole in the Buick got no money and decided to sue scuffedchukicoupe personally.Dittoz7 wrote:LOL
I Remember This...
So Who's Trying To Sue You?
Your Passenger, Or The Guy Retard That Hit You?
