iunno what to say. Everyone has their own reason why they "let themselves go". Just take their word for it and move on with your life.

pmq when your working 60+ hours a week graveyard shift and have to come home sleep for 10 hours to feel remotely awake and then only have a few hours to kill before work calls again you'll understand why people are sometimes so fat.Hell i probably burn 4-5k of calories a night running up and down 5 flights of stairs checking on machines, running down in the basement, and it's a 125 degrees during the night.I generally spend about 20-25 bucks a night before i go to work for my "lunch that night" and anything less i feel like i'm starving half an hour later.Trust me certain life styles take their toll on your health.I've been doing this for almost 2 years now and i still put on weight even though i spend my whole night running around.I sometimes go purposely don't eat for a night or two just to burn some fat and i feel like i'm gonna pass out when i get home.

"Toned" is one of my favorite fitness euphemisms. Roughly translated, it means "skinny and weak." Women use it as an excuse to slack off, ie: "I don't want to get muscles, I just want to look toned." Nobody is impressed, wingFeather.

This is finally a PMQ thread I enjoy. Fatties be fat. I'm ok with that, as long as they don't a) b**** about being fat, b) make me pay for their fat related medical expenses, and c) think they're attractive. Cuz you ain't, you U.G.L.Y. You ain't got no alibi you ugly! Eh! Hey! You ugly!

And now we know that Oatmeal man is drifting into obesity. Though I don't know what you're eating at $20 a night, but of course you don't get full unless you eat a s*** of food, YOU FAT. Also, skipping meals doesn't get you thin. And if you burn "3000-4000" calories a night, and eat, say, 2500-3500 a night, and you aren't losing weight, then your diet sucks or you need to see a doctor.

< Often works 60 hours a week (just did). Exchanged TV for exercise. Worth it.

Uncle same must have your a** on 12's...

eating patterns are one of the biggest factors of weight control.

it's been preached who knows how many times that 4-6 smaller meals a day is the best way to go about it.

skipping meals is a no no...keep the body starved, it slows down the metabolism.

gaining and losing weight is basic f***' math for the most part.

<---put on probably 25 pounds sitting on his a** for nearly 3 months after shoulder surgery.

Hehe, starve yourself and exercise! That'll take some weight off really quick! Your body will try to slow down, but the exercise keeps it going. You may not be burning only fat, but hey, weight is weight, right! :bigthumb:

Some people burn brain cells.

Those people are depicted on a Viacom-owned network called MTV.

I wasn't trying to impress anyone. Not sure why you took it so personally? Are you one of those body builders who compensates for his shortcomings by working out all the time or what?

Truth, when I was working 5-6 12 hour days at nissan with a crappy lunch at 12, I lost 60lbs in a year. Now after leaving that h*ll hole I have put it all back on, being lazy
