i wouldn't go so far as to calling him nala. he has his very own interpretation of the available facts. why can't anyone just accept it? i look at this thread like a bad idle thread gone horribly wrong. that first post is always a bit vague and the ensuing responses are usually varied. no arguing, no bickering like school girls, just guesses at what the culprit could be given the facts provided in the op.

these discussions should be handled in the same manner. some of you think the shooter is guilty, some think innocent, and others reserve final judgment for the courts to decide. all TTkickedin was doing was saying that he thinks the guy is guilty. i'm not staff and i feel embarrassed at how many mods/admins jumped all over him for having an opinion of his own.

personally, i'm letting the legal system take its course. it's not my job to judge anyone, and honestly, no matter which way it goes, it won't really affect me personally. although, the black panthers, sharpton, spike, jackson, etc. can all choke on d!ck. they're doing more harm for african americans than slavery. you want equality? stop alienating yourselves with this kind of s***.

You're right, Tita. He is absolutely entitled to his opinion. However, you must agree, it is provative to hold/defend such strong opinions (doesn't matter which way) despite freely admitting to not having all the facts.
The right to disagree/discuss strong opinions is what a forum is is all about. I recognize this is a sensitive subject so we need to be careful it doesn't turn personal.

I don't think I ever went personal on TT. If I did, I would gladly apologize.

FWIW, I am neither pro-Zimmerman or pro-Martin. I am simply pro-justice.

Absolutely, even more so if one isn't willing to alter their opinion if & when new facts come to light.

Found it posted somewhere else....Not sure if it's complete :gotme

Found this as well:

"On Tuesday, NBC’s Today Show hosted by Ron Allen ran a segment of a phone conversation Zimmerman had with police shortly before killing Martin, as reported by Fox’s Hannity Show. NBC’s version of the phone call allegedly had Zimmerman say the following about Martin: “This guy looks like he’s up to no good. He looks black.”

But in reality the two sentences were separated by a question the 911 dispatcher asked. The original phone call transcript ran like this:

Zimmerman: "We’ve had some break-ins in my neighborhood and there’s a real suspicious guy. It’s Retreat View Circle. The best address I can give you is 111 Retreat View Circle. This guy looks like he’s up to no good, or he’s on drugs or something. It’s raining and he’s just walking around, looking about."

911 Dispatcher: “Okay. And this guy, is he white black or Hispanic?”

Zimmerman: “He looks black.”"

It does not take much to nudge a story, does it?

I would say to just keep an open mind as we've seen press portray things as different simply to get ratings. Remember, innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Yes, it's hard at times to keep that in perspective when you have emotions flowing based on what's coming out or being reported.
