I've been checking dealers around here in Montreal and they tell me the same thing...end of June, early July. But if you don't order one now you'll wait till September for the nex batch. I think that's BS because other dealers have told me the next production run is in July for delivery in August.

Somehow, in the USA, the launch has been very well organize with dealers getting some show cars on May 25/07 as advertise in many of the car magazines...but in Canada, dealer knowledge is very poor....some has no idea when the launch is suppose to be or when they are going to get cars.
After speaking with 4 different dealers I think they're totally clueless or lying through their teeth to get a sale. Sad how they conduct themselves. This is my first time dealing with Nissan and I think their sales force in Canada needs some serious training.
Quote »Both dealer I look at put $5,000 dealer markup on the car (I don't think they will get it) and also put 20 inch chrome wheels with either 255 or 245 tires on them.
Definitely not any better here. I've received quotes ranging from $36K to $39K CAD. Based on a review I read on a Canadian website the 3.5 SE with CVT has an MSRP of $32K. Add to that about $1,500 for transport & other fees and I figure that's about $4-$6K over MSRP. Now $500 I could understand & try to bargain but $4-$6K is a deal-breaker for me.
I know its receiving a lot of good reviews and I still like the car very much. But at this premium I think its price-gouging and somewhat condescending of Nissan.
The more I talk to Nissan dealers, the more I lean towards waiting for the Accord Coupe. At least I know when that's coming out!
