Yeah, I know what you mean, when you see it you must buy it. I bought mine on May 30th, so not much stock, didn't even want premium and stuff but couldn't control myself. It helped that the first dealer I went to had a $3500 markup, so in my mind I got a good deal even thou I paid sticker and went over budget.guitarmn07 wrote:I was a bit concerned about the miles... but as much as I drive, paint chips and dents are inevitable. They repaired the damage for free.
And there were other outside factors that made me decide to go ahead and get the car now rather than wait on the preorder.
Is the recall for the coupe too? I thought it was just for 07 sedan 2.5s. Sorry to hear about your problems, I think you just got unlucky and got one that was bad. Atleast I hope so, I have been on Cloud Nine with this car and don't even want to think about any problems or recalls.prlwhitecoupe wrote:wow ive put up two stories about problems ive had to deal with, woth my new coupe and NO ONE has responded.....????? No one has any issues or recieved a letter concerning a recall yet??.....whats up with that ppl....?
I have yet to have problems?? i have a 2.5s coupe...did they tell you the recall was for all coupes sold or certain dates? keep me posted..if not i will call my dealership or check with Nissan myself. Thanks for the heads up!!prlwhitecoupe wrote:wow ive put up two stories about problems ive had to deal with, woth my new coupe and NO ONE has responded.....????? As far as I know you can simply check your manufactured date. Some coupes made in May are affected, but any manufactured in June and on shouldn't be.flex317 wrote:I just called my Nissan dealer and they checked my Vin number. i was one of the lucky ones not affected by the recall. I encourage everyone that hsa the coupe, even the 3.5SE to call just to make sure. Hey just think of it this way...Free Car Wash!! hahahhaha
I ordered a blue one with blond leather too and it looks gorgeous and yes it does have wood panels but they look great! here's some pictureshttp://www.cardomain.com/ride/2668232btw the blue really looks good with the blond leather, the contrast is really awesome. Much warmer and better than the cold dark charcoal (that's my opinion!)here's some more pics of the blond interior.http://www.familycar.com/RoadT...8.htmLanaya wrote:Hi Everyone, Right now I have on order, a adriatic blue 2.5 - loaded, but Im having a hard time with choosing the interior color....blonde leather or the char? Its super hard to find photo's of the blonde...as it stands I've ordered the blonde but I still have time to change that??? :S Is it true theres wood grain with the blonde?? Cuz Im not sure that will look good.......anyhow if you got n e opinions or pics to help me out I'd deff appreciate it! Here, I made a comparison image for you undecided guys that wonder whether to get charcoal or blond leatherCarlosf22 wrote:Personally I don't like the wood grain with blond leather, that's because the car has interior silver accents specially around the steering wheel and other parts, and silver doesn't match with wood, I saw a 3.5SE with blue exterior and this configuration, I really love black interiors but blond is really good too if it had all silver accents or all wood grain and the steering wheel was all blond color with no silver.
^^what he said! Silver + cream + wood = weird looking. This is a sporty car, not a luxurious car. If I wanted a luxury car, then I'd get the cream/tan leather.Carlosf22 wrote:Personally I don't like the wood grain with blond leather, that's because the car has interior silver accents specially around the steering wheel and other parts, and silver doesn't match with wood, I saw a 3.5SE with blue exterior and this configuration, I really love black interiors but blond is really good too if it had all silver accents or all wood grain and the steering wheel was all blond color with no silver.
Well you see, with the altima coupe, it's kind of a luxurious sporty car. It's not either one or the other. That's what I like about this car. You have the flow factor that's awesome where everybody gives you some , yet you have the refined factor that, when combined with the flow, blows away the competitionChiLLaXtodaMaX wrote:

P.S.: BLOND LEATHER FTWmcheddadi wrote:

Well, here are my two relatively minor issues noticed only in the past couple of days.prlwhitecoupe wrote: No one has any issues or recieved a letter concerning a recall yet??.....whats up with that ppl....?
Mmm... my car doesn't seem loud to me. Idk. I'd compare the 'loudness' to another car to see...uh...hear rather...JTOTHAMOE wrote:the only issue i have is that when i turn my car on it sounds pretty loud for being a new car.... it just doesnt sound like a brand new car. aren't new cars quiet? so i am going to call my dealer tomorrow b/c im not very comfortable with that. any one else experience this?
You know, IMO, the Blonde and wood grain doesn't look that bad... the color of the dashboard kinda throws me off tho, but nevertheless it doesn't look that bad. My Eclipse was Blond interior so I decided it was time for a change up, lol.mcheddadi wrote:Well since I'm biased toward the blond leather I'll just post some more pictures lol
