Those are just bigger versions of the Civic SI wheels. They look exactly like them!

22's are too large, yeah they will fit, but the tires you would need are so small, you sacrifice ride quality. (Also, I hate that tomka toy look...reminds me of these guys with 26 inch wheels on a chevy) I would suugest a max size of 20's and then lowering the car a bit ... this will completely fill the wheel well! My local dealership (Mossy Nissan) actually sells some altima coupe's with custom 20" rims directly from the factory!!!

OK - just don't associate me with 22's on an Altima - I just showed the link so folks can see what is possible. Some folks were doubting that 20s would fit.

As for the 20's from the factory? are you sure of this - I don't think Nissan makes any 20" rim - more likely a DEALER installed option. Often overpriced compared to if you bought the same rim/tire package out of a store. I saw a $4,000 rim/tire package on an Altima that I'm sure cost less than $2,000.

The wheels are from the VAUXHALL/OPEL ASTRA VXR that's out in europe. You can get them from ebay.co.uk or you can get imitation wheels from BK RACING http://www.bkracing.co.uk/aspb...ID=78.

sorry about that, didn't mean to mislead anyone, yes you're right, it is a dealer installed option...and yes, they are overpriced...numerous mossy dealerships here in san diego have them

If only I knew. I actually was just searching the web and happened to encounter the picture and saved it. I have actually searched for it again and CANT find it!!! Weird. I LOVE how those rims fit the coupe. The closest I found to those were these. http://www.zenetti.com/html/20...carID=

Zenetti's MASQUERADE CHROME. These are the rims I plan on getting for my coupe. Size 20's.

As for the picture, They look like they could be 20's and just lowered the car, but not sure. Sorry, To this day I try and find that picture to get additional information on the wheels as well.

AS PROMISED

I have to clean the car and rims though, they had to use so much grease (something that looks like yellow seethru peanutbutter) to get the tires on and it took 2 guys.... I need to get hubcentric rings and put them on too... i didnt know that... do you think i should go with the black lugs? I think the chrome ones are a nice contrast.... Also, what about tinting the tail lights? Or should i leave them red...Thanks! im super happy... i was staring at it for a while

Nice! Now all you have to do is clean those tires haha I use a product called Black Magic Platinum and it has to be the best tire shine on the market. I've tried them all and nothing can compare to the Platinum.

Are you planning on a drop? 1" would look awesome on your car.

LBC,

Congrats on getting your wheels inslalled. I like the black wheels w/ polished lip, but I am a bigger fan of the basic 5 or 6 spoke wheel. Still think 20" are to big of the Alti Coupe, especially on a 2.5......thats just me.

Let us know how it performs and what the differerence in MPG. I am down about 1 MPG going from 17" to 18" on a 3.5., but handles a little better(could be just better tires) w/ no drop in power.....congrats again

Turtle Wax makes a great wet look tire cleaner that I just got. It gives it a deep wet look that lasts for at least couple weeks per application. Propally even longer, I just reapplyed before it really needed after the 1st application.

Now that is the spoiler to get if you must have one. Blends in much better and doesnt look like it would block rear window visibility as much as the other designs I have seen.

Adding a big spoiler to the already pronouced deck lid to me ends up looking too clunky.

LBC...nice look...I have a question for you. Your rims are 20 x 8.5, with a +35 ofset. +35 is the lowest offset recommended for the 08 altima coupe. As you can see from your rims, they stick out further towards the fender than normal. (The lower the offset, the closer they mount to the interior of the wheel, thus the more they will stick out)

I'm looking at some 20 x 8.5 rims with the same offset, and am worrying about how far they will stick out of the fender. With factory springs, you may not have to worry much, however, with a 1 inch drop and if (I know it's a coupe) someone sits in the back seat or you have something in the trunk, going over bumps may cause the tires to rub against the rear fender. This is exactly what happened to my cousin's altima when he put 20 x 8.5's with a +35 offset on it. However, his altima was an 05 , and I'm thinking the wheel well was different on those. In any case, could you please take a couple pics of the wheels so that we can see how flush they are with the fender? It would mean the world to me and anyone else thinking about purchasing this same setup! Thank my man!

HEY GUYS.. thx for the comments.. i know i know i didnt touch the car, just took pics to show you bc i wasnt gonna be able to clean until today.. but i know "its useless without pics" so i posted... The tires are like leather in my mind.. they were just sitting for so long, now i have to moisturize lol... dont worry im not letting it sit like crap lol.. i just wanted to get the pic up here...

On handling i feel like the wheels is heavier for sure, it doiesnt get as much torque steer... how do i reset the MPG counter in my car? it was at 23 even(i drive nuts) ill let u know where it goes...

The ride was suprisingly unaffected

IN ADDITION.. no drop is going to happen at all on my car... As long as theres snow in my area.Thx! now for the HID and D3...

thanks man...but do you see what I mean? Do your wheels stick out a little past the fender? As I mentioned, I'm gonna do a 1" drop with mine (I think it looks a little awkward without one), and I want to make sure a +35 offset will not stick out too far and rub against the fender

I understand... Today ill lay on the floor.. or close to it, and see if the fenderwall is actually blocking the tire from tucking under the panel... ill try and use a ruler/straight edge to give you a correct answer.LBC

thanks LBC...your new photos are EXACTLY what I wanted to see...and as I thought, it does stick out a little bit... for you, since you're not gonna drop your car, you're good, it shouldn't be a problem... but with a 1" drop, going over bumps...its gonna scrape...I think I'll change my rims and get another pair that I've been eyeing with a +42 offset...that should just squeeze into the fender...thanks again for the pics man, you've saved me quite a bit of frustration and headache!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you are confused somewhat about wheel travel. The wheels will pivot in towards the top when the suspension is compressed. The wheel will not go straight up and down like on a straight axle. You can see this on dropped cars and certain stock cars - where the front wheels are straight up and down and the rears are slightly pitched in at the top. Not sure if you can visualize what I'm describing.
