, you mean this?

That's not really my style, I prefer it stock looking

The whole "unsprung weight" thing...Im not a real car buff... and i def dont know a lot about things like this...Will 20s be bad for the cars suspension? "how bad"I own the car, should i be concerned? They will only be on for 8 months a yr.

Heavier rims=slower acceleration & greater stress on your brake system. I don't think they would "hurt" your suspension unless you're rubbing against your shocks.

So ill need pads sooner than normal and the car wont accellerate as fast... Other than that, are there any downsides to having a bigger/heavier wheel?

Did you have to cut the fenderwall or something? it doesnt rub? Put 4 people in your car and let me know!
There is a guy on sounddomain website that has 22s - I think that is overboard - but it does give you an idea of how huge the Altima wheel well is. But this guy's car looks like it gained and least an inch or more in ground clearance. You can easily see to the other side of the bottom of the car. One shot actually looks toy like.

Holler if you get a chance to see this car and let me know what you think. Search by model, seledt altima, year- 2008

You sure you want to get rid of them. Keeping the originals will give you an extra set incase you damage one of your aftermarket rims, or if your rims are ever stolen.

Agreed...plus when you trade your car in, you'll get more if you have all original eqipment.

I went and searched for the car cause I though that would be impossible but ur right! Silver coupe on 22's. For me its doing too much! So much that it doesn't look like the same car ne more. The A/C is a sports car, sport wheels are going to look best. I don't know to me that car is ugly with those wheels.... But hey thats just my opinion.

If the car you are reffering too is the one on cardomain.com, I agree 100% it looks **** w/ 22inch wheels, The car looks like it should be in a Monster Truck comp.....to each their own. People seem to like it and give the car props.

I think in the most part people want big wheels beacuse on the hip hop image. IMO even 20" wheels r too big for the Coupe, especially for the those w/ 2.5. I think people just like to say "they are sitting on 20"s", if that is the case the Coupe is the wrong car to be "sittin." Maybe the Max or the Alti 3.5 sedan (maybe) would look better...again IMO...again too each their own

If people don't like the wheel gap get a drop when the springs come out, as the wheel size won't eliminate the gap as the drop would

We got our Coupe for Performance and the sporty look. The 18" aftermarket wheels have received nothing but compliments, almost more then the car itself. The drop will make it look that much better.

The 19" is biggest wheel I would put on the Alti Coupe, but why pay the extra money for both the tires and wheels. We got the 18" wheels and tires plus will have money for Eibach springs and install for less then getting wheels 1" bigger and to say their 19" wheels

Good points by both u and Cali. If I debage the "altima" off the back would that decrease the resale value or would I be able to glue them back on w/o an issue?
