IMO the MK3 Supra is most definitely NOT underrated. It is a piece of crap in most respects; unreliable, uninspiring, overweight, undersprung.

unreliable - my 89 turbo targa had 218k with original head and bottom end. lsd worked, headgasket was intact, interior was damn fine. depends on how you treat them.uninspiring - renowned 7mgte engine with coil packs, TEMS, incredibly durable transmission, sleek looks, EASILY and CHEAPLY modified/work on, how is that not inspiring?overweight yes (3800 lbs) but in it's class (grand touring) that is nothing out of the ordinary. plus if you had ever rode in one, it does not feel like it. the suspension is refined enough to feel solid yet provide a nice ride.

having owned a mint mk3 turbo and an equally mint SS 300zx, i can easily say that in all respects the mk3 goes above and beyond.

there are many MANY crappy and rundown mk3's running around unfortunately, which may have influenced your decesion.

ha, HA! TEMS? You mean soft and softer? I drove a 300 hp '88 hardtop with coilovers within the last month, and rode in it at a drift competition. Still a mediocre performer at best.obligatory pic

I don't know about Tiburons being over-rated, but I definitely agree about the Turbo Bricks. There's something perversely cool about an ugly, square station wagon that's fast as hell. If I had one I'd give it a coat of rustoleum and some curb feelers to finish out the ugly but fast motif.

Its not really a underrated car, its more of a rare to find car. I know lots of people that would want that car.

Z32 is underrated.

Though, i am sure this post is a repost.

Not sure how the Z32 could ever be underrrated; it's highly-praised (by those who know wtf they're talking about), wildly popular and a proven performer.

Interesting choice. On one hand, it's a Porsche, so you could argue that it's starting off from a position of "over-rated". Still, the Boxster does have the odd stigma of being the "Porsche for ladies".

I find the unquestioning devotion to the rear-engine 911 to be kind of odd. Do the 911 faithful really believe that the Boxster's not a Porsche because it's mid engine?

Still a rare find and compared to the supra or skyline; its always overlooked. The price? thats called cult following price. There is a giant Z following, you should know that by now.

Now, its the complete opposite for the 350z. Everyone has that car.

Z32's are rare? I see a couple everyday, atleast.And I still don't get the whole skyline vs z32 thing; we never got Skylines, so most people don't even know/care about them. Not sure what you mean by a cult following price, but a genuine TT sportscar that's sexy as hell for <$10k seems fair.And of course I know they have a giant following;
