Whip replied over in the 240 forum about KAs, sounds like they can be done, not sure to what extent though. he would have to elaborate on that.

We can hook up the KA guys too if we have equally amount of interest as the CA guys displayed.

Ross and I spoke on about this and we can have them custom made for the KA. However, a minimum order of 10 would need to be ordered to even to get things off the ground.

If they were made that one time though they would be added to the catalog. The reason i started this was to get enough orders for ATI to move away from a custom one off to firing up the CNC mill. It was quite by accident I discovered the Ross units. They are prettier, on the shelf and the price was cheaper. Your taking the ball and running with it sealed the deal.

What is the amount that would cause the KA to be added to the catalog. I will bring it to the attention of the KA mods and see what they can do to drum up interest from the KA dudes.

the KA's would be around the same price (ideally) however, wouldn't be surprised if they were slightly more expensive.

now Ross isn't the first company to do this by any means but when they were testing out there higher HP (500+) cars on the track they noticed they were throwing belts in high rpm at normal pump speed (drive).

Reducing the speed by underdriving the pump reduced the effort of the pump needs at higher rpm in return reduces any parasitic hp draw that the P/s causes.

However, i don't recall stating that the CA balancers are underdriving the P/S did i?

we went over some of the key benefits of switching to this balancer earlier on in the thread, i believe just recently on the other page.

if there is something beyond that LMK and I'll try to help.

Now lets get going you guys, thought the CA community was alittle more prepared, raise together and improve your engines.

Thanks all.

I believe TMS stated the power steering was underdriven?

I might be trippin....

CA owners outside of australia, UK, europe etc are cheap bastads. Would prolly be a good idea to link this to drifting.com and sxoc.com.

I'll take one as long as PS isnt underdriven.

Well talking with the CA pro I won't be needing this part but for the community I will see if I can drum up some German interest. No promises though but it looks like another group buy might see an untimely end so I will see what I can do on this end.

Coolwhip what kind of payments can you accept? Paypal isn't too widely used over here and most of their transfers are done via bank transfer. I guess if push comes to shove my wife could accept the payments and I can then make a one time paypal payment or money order.

Let me know so I can get the facts straight before I post this up on the German website.

I have a German friend who is big into RB's who is going to translate the information so that the German guys can get into this.

The CA guys over here are pretty cheap too but there are a few RB and a select few CA guys who might be able to join in on this.

Luckily the USD is kind of crappy and the Euro is strong so this might be a good selling point to try and get this off the ground here.

I will ask any questions here that they ask on this end and he will update the thread.

We accept, paypal, credit card, money order, and bank transfers.

Just a quick note for you rage, the RB balancers are not part of this group buy. However, we do stock them and for international ordering we can always save you you guys money by bundling 2 or more up per package.

Thanks

Okay didn't know about the RB balancers but I will let them know. Might kill the deal then but I can see what I can do to get some CA guys to bite.

the metal jacket balancers allow for the use of A/C and powersteering (as the same as the factory balancer).

The racing balancer does not allow for either a/c or power steering.

IF you are wondering if it includes pulleys to go on the Powersteering pump and A/C Compressor = no.

Hope there is no confusion there.

After you indicate which balancer you are interested in and where it'll be shipped to (if outside the US) then you'll have a complete price quote which can be payed either by Money order, credit card, paypal, or bank transfer.

Flat rate shipping in the US - $22 unless 15 or more orders are placed.

Right now the price is at $445 for the non-race version (+ the $22 shipping)

Let us know if you want to jump in

That back shot is exactly what I wanted to see. Any of us using SDS shouldn't have any problems mounting magnets to the back of that pulley. Not that it would have been a big deal to mount a plate to the front, but it would have covered up the pulley and half the fun of having it is so that people can see it!
