No, i completely agree with you. Your car is a street car, and one of the nicest i have ever seen. But some people with caged, gutted cars could put a little more emphasis on the tires.

Let me know if you're going to sell the rims. I may be interested.

Motor mounts: NismoFlywheel: Cusco, or Toda. Make sure you get Chromoly and not Aluminum.Clutch: Exedy. You can probably get away with Stage 01, but with the turbo upgrade, I'd do Stage 02.

Do an Nismo slave cylinder while you're down there. I'm half way interested in doing the upgrade as well, but you being the guinea pig would work better for me.

If you haven't already, bypass the clutch dampener box.

I'll let you know on the rims. I have been looking at the peak performance trans mount and cusco motor mounts due to a friend's recommendation, but NISMO is what I was initially going to get. Still undecided.

I had great luck with my ACT Street clutch and Fidanza flywheel in my solara, so those were the ones I was looking into first. Appreciate the feedback- just want something that will hold the power (which won't be a ton anyway) and will stay streetable for traffic jams to and from work.

Considering the NISMO slave cylinder. I have a NISMO clutch line sitting in my pile of parts as well, just haven't installed it yet.

What you described is what I run (for the mounts). If you're not tracking the car, it's pointless. Excessive noise and vibration for nothing. You're looking to freshen up the mounts, go with Nismo. Easier on the wallet.

Aluminum tends to blow up. Everyone I've spoken to who's modified 240sx's has stated to go with Chromoly for the flywheel. Take it anyway you want. I believe Exedy makes the OEM clutch on these motors (I could be wrong), but my Exedy clutch is fantastic. No issues at all and I abuse the hell out of it. My friend is happy with his ACT, I find it to be more harsh than my Exedy setup, but that's all personal opinion.

The Nismo slave cylinder is suppose to make a larger contact with the clutch fork. The increased diameter of the plunger (proper name?) makes it easier to engage the clutch, especially when you remove the dampener box.

Again, get it first so you can tell me if I should get it. >=]

Sexiest Chuki on Nico IMO. Also, those rear valences and skirts you have, where'd you get them and will they fit a coupe? I know this question has probably been asked before but I'm kinda lazy

lol thanks. I think the sides will fit but the rear valences will not... don't quote me, but I think that is right. I got the skirts from a zilvia member and the rear valences from ebay.

Against the rules to post your own car, so I think that would be a good thing if you posted it. I also feel damons car should be there, its super.

haha, thanks guys! But yeah, don't want to post my own car in there!

I will have to try to figure out how to get a hold of this Nissan magazine, I can't find it anywhere here!

I honestly haven't had a minute to look at it. I am getting some injectors from the_momo locally tomorrow to see if that solves it. The weather has been so bad here lately that I haven't been too motivated to figure it out, on top of not having the time- car will be put away in two weeks.

I might, but it is usually all torn apart at that time. I had the Solara in it 2 years ago and it was almost more hassle than it was worth.

Your car is beautiful, its far from stock but not overdone on the bodywork looks very nice. I wish i had the money and skill to do this to my car i hope one day it looks even half as nice as yours. Keep up the good work i'd be scared to take anything off for winter i'd be scared i couldn't get it to look so perfect the second time. But i'm sure you'll find a way to make it even better. Awesome car man much props.

I fixed the misfire tonight. Replaced the #2 injector with one from a friend (thank you Jake!) and that solved my misfire problem. Ran it up and down the street and everything seemed peachy. I looked in the garage and saw a decent sized oil spot. Looked under the car and it looks like there is oil leaking from the turbo housing. Checked for a loose line or something but I think it is just another sign that my turbo is taking a dump. Kind of bummed because I wanted to take it to the drag strip tomorrow, but oh well- at least it is running correctly now.

I washed it and am taking it out to winter storage tomorrow. Then I can start taking it apart and working on it.

Last wash of the year (crappy cell pics):

Roof spoiler I put on a couple weeks ago:

Here is a pic of the oil leak. It looks like the oil is collecting on the housing of the turbo and running down on to the oil drain tube. I checked the bolts for the drain tube and lines and everything seemed tight:
