Hey look a pointless reply just so you can have an opportunity to tell everyone you'll be in a booth at SEMA.

Dude wtf, how long did it take you to find a good set?

Also who did you order your wheels from?

I found just the sides, but not the center section. Personally, I am not even sure if I want the center. I will mock it up when they get here and see how it looks. I found a right side on zilvia and a left side on ebay, both pretty cheap, so I snagged them up. Just needs paint...

I got the wheels from ebay so I didn't have to wait 3-4 months from Rays.

Now With Bumnah Carbon Fiber! Thanks again for meeting half way and working out a sweet deal man!

Oh hai... trips to Pennsylvania are fun!

cf>spray bomb:

Hood:

Fitment seems a bit off

I think it will be pretty subtle, I am excited to install... I am gonna get a price on the glass install from my spare hatch tomorrow after work. Might try to install the hood... that or wire my gauges. I should probably do the gauges, haha.

You paid for it. Fair and square. It's not mine any longer. All yours.

It was nice meeting you. I've made just as many trip to BeaveRun as I have to my local auto x location.

I'm ordering up my tail lights on Tuesday.

It was hard to let the pieces go. Half of me wanted to keep 'em, the other half wanted to sell. I think you'll likes the pieces more anyways....

Washed the car and test fitted the hood tonight- unfortunately that was all I had time to do. Here are some pics my brother took quick with his iphone. Ironically, they are better quality than my digital camera

It is super subtle, I really like it... you can't really tell it is CF until you are up close. Can't wait for my rear valences to show up!

I was just test fitting them, I'm not rocking them blue. I will install them along with the rear valences when they are painted, hopefully in a week or two.

Thanks a lot! It has for sure been a lot of work, but it is getting close now!

Two quick pics people took at a meet last weekend:

Hood is on and fitting pretty decent for now. Ordered aerocatch hood pins today so it doesnt fly up in my face. Also test fitted the aero, one rear valence is here and one is on the way:

Hard to tell with the sides blue and the rear white what it will look like, but I am confident it will look really nice.

Thank you for building one of the cleanest 240s' out there. I'm tired of seeing so many riced out, cheap looking cars that ruin the S-chassis. You get major kudos for building a quality car that not only looks great, but is probably a blast to drive.

How do you like the fitment and quality of the stockinteriors carpet? I'm considering ordering new carpet from them soon.

I'd suggest not putting hood pins in that beautiful hood but if you must...The latch mechanism on those hoods is secure enough. Normally hood pins make people forget about putting them on and the hood flies up in their face more often, so at least keep the latch.

Still, I'm loving the CF goodness. I think it looks amazing on your black car next to the unpainted CF. The hatch is key man, really nice piece.

Greg had his hood fly up on him with the stock latch, and a local kid I know had his CF hood fly up on his mustang, it didn't have hood pin's either. I've always hated the thought of hacking up a brand new hood and putting pins on though

Thanks a lot guys! I hate to do the hood pins as well, I really do, but I think it is better safe than sorry in this situation. At least they will be flush and hopefully pretty subtle. I'm glad you guys think the cf will look good though, I wasn't sure if cf was past its prime yet or not I think on a black car it works.

As for the carpet question, I am very happy with it. I had the same carpet in my solara as well and it fit pretty well, looks clean.

Well, here is another mockup. The rear valence I got for this side is a dark green, so I didn't have to alter it in photoshop any- all I touched was the side skirt (made it black). I think it is going to look good, but I want the center section to go across the rear now.

I really hope to have this stuff in to paint by the end of the week and the hatch in somewhere for the glass install.

I got it from a guy on Zilvia that was selling it locally. I know they are for sure tricky to find these days, but I think some places still make/sell them.

Got a place to do the paint work and the hatch glass install today, just need to get the parts into the shops. Next week should be a nice update!

your car proves that you dont need huge amounts of money and ridiculous kits and offsets to make a car look sick. Why this car looks so good is because the parts mesh so well together. This is what people miss so often when designing their cars... its not something attainable or learned... its an eye for art and flow. Good job.
