It will clear the A/C compressor. It hangs down pretty low on the bracket. You'll have to have custom lines made up of course.

Bah $50 wrap for a $50 manifold :pBut those prices are a bit high... like 2x-3x higher than what you can get stateside.

Yeah I'm going to send mine to jet hot or performance coatings to get it ceramic coated. Even with shipping, I'll come out ahead. I am just going to order one plain without the ceramic or heat wrap.

And believe it or not, there is not a ceramic coater in the entire state of Iowa?? I'm sure there's one for industrial and large order applications, but I can't find one that does manifolds. <edit - Nevermind. I found the only one in the state.>

I think its a good idea to do both, ceramic and heat wrap.... thats what I'm in the process of doing right now with my twin set up.

Kyle said he will be moving into a new house this week and will not be able to get back to us for about a week. He wanted me to pass it along that he's not "being slack" or anything.

An additional note that I didn't think about is that you cannot get your manifold ceramic coated by him because you have to weld the wastegate flange on the manifold before doing so. Therefore, everyone's manifold will cost the same $890 plus paypal fees. You'll just have to find a local shop to ceramic coat it and most run about $125-175. Make sure you get a 2000*F coating and not a 1350*.

I'm sorry guys. I've been reading on calaisturbo and got that mixed up with what I actually received in e-mail. Too much crap to keep straight. The prices on a thread that I found over there went as follows (in AUD):

Heat wrapping $200Compressor cover porting $250Ceramic coating - black $320Ceramic coating - silver $280Ceramic coating of exh. housing $250

I'll e-mail Kyle and see if the group buy can get a discount on these items as well.

74260Z - I'll e-mail him today and hopefully get more pics up tonight (US time). They are 14 hours behind so it is 10 pm there right now. I have found that he only checks his e-mail once per day in the morning, which is about 6 pm where I live.
gees the ceramic coating is pretty expensive. I believe i can get it done for cheaper locally.

Each of us will send money to Kyle and each might be a little different because of minor shipping differences. He is moving and won't be able to get back to his computer until next week. I would go ahead and e-mail him directly with what you want saying you're with my group and he'll have to quote you a price. Did you get my last e-mail btw?

As long as everything goes right I'll definately be in on the 2nd group buy. That manifold looks amazing for that price. Thank you for helping us all out with this.

As of right now I think there are 4 or 5 so I'm hoping nobody else drops into the "second group". I will e-mail Kyle again tomorrow to check in and see if he is moved in and setup for business. Sounds like he makes these manifolds out of his own shop at his house or something. Not sure. I will keep you all posted.

I got an e-mail from Kyle today saying that he only has two people including myself that have e-mailed him about the group buy. I am pretty sure Josh (fast_s14) and Seth (RB_Seth) are in with me and we just need one other person.

nizmo zilvia?? what is your status?cdorhout?? what is your status?**Chime in quick here because I would like to get the ball rolling this week.**

One other side note is that he told me: the forward-mount manifold is $100 more for a total of $1100AUD = $980USD. That is what I'm getting especially if it is still $500 cheaper than LoveFab.

$1100.00 AUD= $1005.76 US as of today. With our dollar weakening pretty soon it will be even money, so hurry if you want a deal.

UPDATE!

Just got an e-mail from Kyle this morning saying that he has been having internet problems and difficulties getting his e-mail from his old shop. BUT now he says things are ironed out and his internet is blazing fast.

Even better news is that he has already started on our manifolds and we have not even paid him yet. He said he will figure out the freight costs and let us each know how much we owe. Cmon all you holiday shoppers! Spend some money so the exchange rate jumps back up!
