One thing I would seriously look at is to weld some plate to the motor mount tabs. A big block will bust those out. Just weld a plate to the inner and outer sides or gusset them front and back. IMHO.

Either one of those intakes would look way cooler than the stock circular box. I'm gonna go with the second one, assuming you can get the actual box to flow enough CFM.

Would definitely want to extend the intake to the OEM air filter location to get cooler air though.

Although you're right about the cooler air, something tells me that setup of his isn't staying under the hood. With a carb and that giant box and filters, there's no possible way he could get the whole thing under the hood.

That box makes me think of two nostrils sticking through the hood, breathing angrily. I pray this thing has a long duration cam and 4 inch exhaust.

Well no video yet because I havent been able to get her cranked. Three batteries, an optima from auto zone , and smoking a starter, Im just a little suprised when she didnt fire right up, but thats the way it goes. It did fire up for about five seconds and sounded like a demon.
