Not sure how 4x4 relates to anything said here... what is that?

You're proposing that I keep the lip on the car? I can't clear my driveway or any steep angles with it on. I'd rather keep it off the car, stored in good condition in my garage. What is your reasoning?

Why are the tires funny? I'm only driving it in HPDE2 right now... with only two events in this particular car under my belt. These tires aren't that bad, either. I was as fast as eg civic built cars through the corners... being driven by instructors.

Yeah, I got one hell of a steal on this car. Kind of the perfect buy, really. If I lose money, it won't be much. I am more into driving than wrenching... and this car has years of wrenching behind it and is now ready for driving.

Cars extra clean, props! I remeber seeing it in magazines when it had the SR20 with the Gold valve cover. I think the owner you bought it from gave it what it needed.

Hey Matt Im kinda in the same boat as you getting a RB26DETT already done. You faired a bit better than I did though as mine isnt running too great. Anyway I was wondering if you could possibly post or email me some pictures of the intercooler piping going into the intake manifold like running up from the intercooler. Mine has some bastardized setup and I have been looking forever to see what it should look like under there as I think the setup that is there is affecting performance. Thanks and Awesome car!!!

Hey, Tim. Thanks for the kind words.

That's awesome and crappy at the same time. This is what it looked like before some of the most recent mods:

Um, did you find the cure cancer or something similar in your lifetime? Cuz damn, I think karma was involved in the finding of this car for that price (that is assuming that you are/have been a good person)

Hehe I have a few WOT ones that are pretty rabid... and a cool walkthrough of the car and the startup procedure. Can I use HTML to embed a video from flickr?

I figured as much. Why hate?

Karma may have been involved. I consider myself an honest, warm-hearted dude.

In all seriousness, though, it was one of those "take the opportunity given to you" moments. I was looking for a track car, and it just so happened to be for sale. I called Enrique (previous owner) and flew out ASAP to buy it.

I was pretty nervous about buying a car on ebay, but after Mac McKinney checked it out and gave me the signal, I was sold.

*NOTE: If you don't have bass on your speakers or headphones, you won't hear the car well.*

didnt read the whole thread, what is the name of that seat? I just picked up one nearly identical tonight, without the section for a 5 point crotch belt. What "model" seat is this?

Thanks. Any way that I could get you to scan that article and cover, or could I buy that magazine copy from you?

Jeeze my home town is right up the road from there in Hemet. Anyway thanks for the picture, I was hoping you had one down by the BOV/BPV area as mine is completely bastardized lol. Anyway when it stops raining hopefully I can keep troubleshooting the dying issue.
