But I'll tell you one thing I learned about the 98-2001 RS motors, if you're gonna get one of those to tune, get a 99-01 (phase II motor SOHC). They make alot more parts for it than mine (phase I DOHC), but they have the same power out put.

There's nothing really to say unless you wanted me to spout off knowledge of a car I'm gonna be selling. I haven't really done anything except removing restrictions. It's just too expensive for me to tune up. That's why I'm looking for some decent 240-ness. Everything here in SoCal's about $3k! What's up w/ that!

Update I might end up getting another S13. My dad found a 93' hatch(no sunroof tho ) in an auction w/ a 5spd so I might know tuesday night if I get it or not.

For the right price I can deal with another S13

i saw someone here selling a MINT, and i mean MINT red 240 5spd, it was an 89 (motor swap time!!) and had 189k on it, and was NICE itwas 2k obo

wow, and RB25, thats quite a high goal, but itll haul once its in there, u plan on getting one from daunt??, and how high u plannin on moddin it??

My intentions were to buy the RB25DET from Daunttless with the installation package(downpipe, Apexi N1 exhaust, 255lph fuel pump, etc included) once I upgraded the suspension, and went to 5 lug(vs the S13's 4 lug) for better brakes. Since he also has the Silvia front end conversion I had that planned too. As for further mods, I was going to upgrade the turbo, intercooler, go to better gaskets and pistons, as money became more available. I wanted to keep a low boost until I had the engine built up(not to mention the fuel flow). I was probably gonna get a stand-alone too

Still planning on it, but losing my car and having to look for another one changed it a little.

I have high expectations

In the end I planned on having around 20k or so into the project give or take a few bucks...

Not trying to beat anybody else, just had specific goals in mind

Whichever 240sx I end up getting again I'll probably throw up a thread with info on the parts as i get them. I already have a couple things already just gotta wait on the car.
