I actually tried getting the camaro when it came out but like...besides having to wait for 5 months ...the dealers were selling it for $1-4k + msrp....but at the same time that is much more of a hot commodity than an AC imo.

DO NOT PAY MSRP! You should be able to get it below, you might have to go to multiple dealerships. They are greedy bastards and will try to outbid each other.

The new projectors look like a**. Maybe will look better with some paint and amber removal.

I have an 08 and my first impression of the front end of the 2010 is that it does not wow me, but I will wait until I can see it in person. I have never thought pics of the Altima Coupe of any year do the car actual justice. It just looks better in person than in pics, so I will wait til I can actually see it in person for my final judgment. I will say though that as far as the rear diffuser, I liked it better in black. Having it body colored I think visually lowers the rear of the car and makes the rear look bigger. I do like the radio/dash changes over my 08.

I don't think it lost aggressiveness one bit, at most I'd just say it got more focused:

but seriously I know how feeling like this is a car that stands out among the others and having the support of people is an important part of the buying experience but its hard since we all fell in love with the original fascia when we first bought the car. moments like this either tear a community apart or make it stronger. I think that people that loved their car for the good reasons should welcome the new car. it should not be a threat to them.its an evolution not a revolution. its the same car with a minor facialplasty lol.

think about how we are lucky compared to the sedan owners who got royally screwed! no more 6MT for them, no projectors, no red leather, no nice rims, no sport seats, etc.. poor them....

not much of a difference? ok.. lol !!!! i guess its a diff 'mean aggressive' look they got going, but if you dont see a diff.. um, idk. lol And why didnt they do like honda, and revamp the coupe, late, like they did with the civic/accord.. instead of doing them both around the same time. The coupe just came out.. its not time for a refresh of that measure..lol its a new front, old rear.. cmon now!

At least they got the spoiler right.. It conceals the rear like it should being more flush.

The g35 wings look so out of place on Alti, and the stillen lips don't improve the rear looks.

This one seems to accomplish that. imo.

Are they available? $400 something from nissan oem?

It's odd, the one thing on my coupe that I wasn't totally thrilled about was the front end. I always thought it seemed to slope too much at the front. But now that they "chopped" the front on the 2010, I really prefer the front of mine to the new look. The new one just doesn't look right...

Also...I'm sick of the poor man G comments! Why does everyone try to compare a fwd familyish sports coupe with a rwd sports car. Ya, some elements remind you of the G, but thats because they are made by the same company!

To me the A/C is unique and diff. in the world of fwd coupes, lets stay in that category.

it's just an old shop from a jap mag of the tentative s15 (silvia revival).it never looked like that and was never seen by anyone lol, eventually nissan decided to ditch that for a prius fighter instead. we could have gotten that awesome photoshoped car in a RWD platfrom and instead we are getting the nissan LEAF.... seriously...

ok and another probably pointless question... has anyone drove a infinity g35 or 37 comparing it to the altima coupe... since its longer in wheel base which one do you think handles better besides power and luxury? im allways getting sized up by the infinity drivers and they like speeding off on me lol just a random question

g37's handling is incredible! really predictable at the limit.

totally in a different league than the altima coupe 3.5SE stock. with the coilovers + HLSD the altima gets even.

it still can't powerslide like the g37 but thats the evident limitation of fwd

i'd say a version of the VQ37VHR or the VQ35HR (high reving)HLSD as an option. rwd maybe? if its RWD it would only be on a SE-R model or a nismo edition that could compete with the base 370z.

lol wtf? they'd never make an SE-R RWD.... the only possible thing is MAYBE AWD.... they need to make one with AWD but they dont want to. they wont put a VQ35HR in it though. the reason why is because the new Maxima is still using a VQ35DE. they'll probably boost the power to like 290 HP and have a sport mode for CVT (like the Maxima) and what they NEED to do is have the 2.5s come with 200 HP instead of 170 or 175.... doesnt the I4 accord come with 200 HP?
