Is it me or do all new cars these days look the same? I guess I mean more in the coupe direction....the altima, the g37, pontiac g6 or w/e gen they are on now....when I see a car on the road I have to look twice to figure out what it is now....surely I have an 'untrained' eye....maybe I am just horrible at figuring cars out...I dunno

The sporty, 2-door Nissan Altima Coupe enters its third year of production in 2010, once again offering a high-value, high quality, high style coupe for Altima customers seeking a more personal expression of individuality and fashionable appearance.

For 2010, Altima Coupe receives a number of significant enhancements with new exterior styling, three new exterior colors, refined interior fabrics, new available red leather-appointed interior color and revised option package content, including an advanced Nissan Hard Drive Navigation System and Bose® premium audio system with 7 speakers and a 4.3-inch color display. In addition, a new Altima 3.5 SR model designation replaces the previous 3.5 SE model designation, with unique content for the manual transmission-equipped 3.5 SR 6MT.

The 2010 Altima Coupe is available in 2.5 S and 3.5 SR trim levels, equipped with 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder and 3.5-liter V6 engines, respectively, and each offered with a choice of a 6-speed manual transmission or Nissan’s advanced Xtronic CVT™ (Continuously Variable Transmission).

The Altima Coupe’s unique exterior design is intended to stand out in a crowd of sedan-based two-door models with magnetic, perfectly proportioned styling with a shorter wheelbase, shorter overall length and lower height than the Altima Sedan. The smaller size and lighter overall weight also contribute to the Coupe’s sportier driving feel – a desired attribute of the typically younger, more performance-oriented coupe buyers.

Also offered is a long list of user-friendly technology features – including standard Nissan Intelligent Key™ with Push Button Ignition and available Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System with audio streaming, advanced touch-screen navigation system with XM NavTraffic® and NavWeather® real-time information services (XM® subscription required, sold separately) and RearView Monitor.

soooo, they do indeed have projector headlights....

dam*it, they do NOT look like they will fit onto the old A/C... what a bunch of f*ctards!!

and it looks like they went with the aftermarket-grade material for the stereo dash cover area

the new rear diffuser is body color matched instead of mate black...

the projectors do NOT look very good... they look funky from both the front and the side... also, the new front bumper is not as sleek IMO, it also looks goofy from the front...

if you guys want one, why dont you just convert your 08-09 to a 2010? its just a front bumper, ugly grill (which i would replace with just mesh), headlights and a hood... front bumper is like what $150? $200? then how much is a hood? $200? $300? together thats still cheaper then the stillen front fascia.... only expensive part would probably be the headlights.

the hood is also different, so if we want to get the new projector headlights, we have to get the new front bumper and new hood... phucking stupid phucktards at nissan... what the phuck were they thinking... why the phuck would they make new projectors and NOT allow retrofits with the 08's and 09's the way they did with the 06 G35... phucking stupid phucktards at nissan

Although I like it and its a slight improvment Im glad they didnt change so much to the point where I had to trade mine in. Although the 2010 guys are going to get the projecters almost all of us want its going to be a while before they can do to much to them. The few front ends that are available for our cars wont fit it due to the new headlights also no carbon fiber or aftermarket hoods or fenders once again thanks to the lights. Pretty much all they will be able to do for a while is the side skirts and rear bumper. Look how few selections we have as is and how long our coupe has been out its going to be just as long for them to get aftermarket attention.

I have to say that I find the car MUCH MUCH better looking. before, the face lacked soul, but now, it's purposeful, it flows with the car and the projectors are top notch. the 6mt has a SHORT shift KIT now! also the the silver paint on the knob and on the wheel are gone and replaced with a much nicer gun metal color.

what I want to see now is if the real tail lights are LED and also the three new colors and the red interior. overall this is the definitive edition of the altima coupe and a GREAT refresh. front bumper/grille/hood/headlight combo is MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH better than before.

its like they took the creativity to eleven on ALL the car and not just the rear and side profile. also they have a new blond color and i'd like to see that too. overall it looks a lot like a g37 in profile now and I LOVE IT.

may require fenders also, hard to tell... and let's not forget painting all of those parts... ur looking at about $3000

$250 for front bumper$300 for hood$90 for front grill(maybe another $150 for fenders)$1600 for both headlights (just check online)$1500 for a quality two or stage paint job

this aint gonna be cheap bruh.... be much cheaper to just get lightwurkz to retrofit some quality projector headlamps

from your love of the chevy cobalt, to this, its clear that you and I have NEVER agreed on anything regarding cars...

thr front bumper looks like it has an open fish mouth smiling, (or one of the cars from the movie "CARS" talking) showing the fugly silver radiator behind it. That opening is too tall, and is an eyesore...

the whole front profile (not angled front, but dead center front) just looks WORSE to me.... they did not move this thing in a forward direction IMO... let's just agree to disagree on this..

and to take things one step further, if I had seen this in the show room when I originally saw the 08 coupe back in 07, I do not think I would have been as eager to grab this... IMO, the A/C had a LOT of visual differences from the G35... this looks like it trying to mimic the G37 and is doin a poor job at it....

I'm just disappointed

If this was the front end they came out with, I would probably still be driving my '02 Acura RSX Premium.

Why can't Nissan/Infiniti leave it alone, I love the look of '08/'09 and G35. If you are going to make changes, do it like Acura with the TSX/TL but these minor face lifts are sad. It lost the aggressive look and now it looks "happy." Not that there's anything wrong with that.

psh- honestly i think the interior center console looks better- but i wouldnt ever spend the dough on the bose.

the outside- looks sleek but im still pissed tht the hood etc looks like the accord coupe.

i like the wheels

i like the grille, but my stillen is better.

f the headlights. make ur own lol

it looks like it sits higher now...

my biggest s***list number here tho :

im pissed tht the VQ will now take regular cus i woulda f***in taken that goddamn engine 2nd to none. and the short shifter s***- wtf on the 6spd. so now they are gna have more s*** for the VQ's an less for us QR's makes me want to turbo mine now- but i'll still get f***ed for premium. it just pisses me off now. if they create a nismo or a se-r version im gna s*** my f***in pants. an u guys kno i dnt go on a swearfest unless im f***in pissed. i feel like the QR in its limitedness now is gna be the 'cheap' engine like the 1.8 on the sentra- no one cares about it unless its a point a to point b car. ppl like us care more about other s*** and it just f***s me in the a** to know that they are doin more versions of a higher model.

I dont know, a little underwhelming if you ask me from the pictures. Then again, I thought the Hyundai Genesis looked ugly in Car and DRiver but then when I saw it in person whoa baby. So I will reserve any serious judgement until I get to see one in person.

That being said, anyone else thing the grill looks exactly like the one on the Honda Accord coupe?

There are two things I really like; first on the steering wheel there are no longer those silver pieces they are painted a dark matte black color. In fact, that may give me a little inspiration to paint mine (i have the black interior). I also like that the gauges are not outlined in white.

That being said, I think the shape of the headlights is downright goofy. I think I am in the minority when I say I like the stock ones from the current ones a lot, but oh well. Not a fan of the new hood and front look. In the end I give it a meh and definatly wont lose sleep over wanting to trade my 08 in for a 2010

it doesnt need fenders. they said they didnt change them. and the grill, i would just replace with mesh like i did with mine. my front fascia cost me $150 for quality paint WITH FABRICATION DONE TO IT. so FOR SURE i can get the hood and front bumper painted for $300. so $200 for front bumper, $300 for hood, $300 for paint, $20 for mesh and can of black paint.... without the lights thats $820.... lights would be the killer though, those will be expensive. not a bad idea in a few months though when you can find some used 2010 head lights on ebay... especially since they wont fit the 08-09 so no one would really buy them.

I don't love the chevy cobalt, I love the 2008+ cheavy cobalt SS turbochargedbig difference. like 2008 wrx sti vs 2008 wrx. it's all in the details

but seriously I don't see how the old look was better than the new one

old look looked like the car was spazed out while new look looks like it is eager and wiling to give you a ride and take you places. the CARS reference is dead on. But too me that quite a positive thing... lolplus it looks soo g37 ish and thats a good thing in my eyes too lol. the g37 is a gorgeous car. and the altima coupe is unique in the fact thats it take the new design langage and blends it with the audacity of the old one.

it does have some quirks that will get some time getting used too, but its a pretty car and I welcome it in the family lol.

in crismson black it should look Gorgeous btw.

as far as projectors and a front end-

that just looks a TON better

i was moved so much tht i had to take a pic of a 4 banger tht pwns

Nice changes but I am not a fan of the 2010 headlight style. I also think the that they should had kept it looking less like the G37 because it is not a G37 so why make it look so close to it.

I like how the 08-09 look because it was different and had its perk. I prefer the shape of the 08-09 headlight better because where the corner of the headlight where it meets the bumper/hood is unnecessary. It seem like they added that because they wanted to make sure that it wont fit previous model.

I don't like the headlights at all, they look like the Sentra's headlights imo.I also don't like the hood, but it's nice that the hood flows straight into the grill. The radio is no more than okay.and I don't like the color matched rear diffuser.

I love the steering wheeland the white rings in the gauge cluster

I thought it would take another year or two for some major changes but I guess not. This now puts us (especially QR's) 08/09 owners in a predicament.

It has been relatively hard for us to get aftermarket parts for our cars and now that there is a model that has a completely different front end, it might just make it that much harder. I'm pretty sure this puts our cars in a "rare" area, the new owners (of the 2010 model) will be wanting aftermarket and businesses might tend to them over us. I don't know though. Just a thought

i agree about the headlights- they coulda just not rounded out the insides but they did. if u follow where they woulda come to a corner they woulda been perfect- God forbid they kept the same outside shape w/ diff insides...
