I love my BOV. I will never run anything different! I've had Greddy RS and Type S as well as the HKS version II, and I like the tial way better! AS for the spring, I honestly forgot what one I got, ha ha. Just let the car idle, and get a spring based off the vacuum. Mine was in between 2 springs, so I got the heavier one. I do run an oil restrictor, but I forgot what size it was. I was also told by the owner of TEC (turbo engineering corp) that you don't have to run an oil restrictor, but full race supplied it with the kit, so i used it, just in case. I'm running the TAKA line kit from phase2...

Well, I'd just go with whatever is good for between 15in to 18in (I think that's about where I am) of vacuum. You can always get another spring, lol.

Well, I figured that I'd get a baseline dyno just to see my progress before dropping the built motor in (very soon BTW!). I will say that the terrible tune that I have and stock cams, really limit what kind of numbers that I'm able to put down lol. I dyno'd on a mustang dyno (pretty conservative) at 20.5 psi. My stock cams make me hit a brick wall at 6200 RPMS, lol.

Here's the chart:

Here are a couple pics:

BTW, I ran an 11.95 @ 114 MPH with this setup...

ElNegro, im finally down to just plumbing everything in my car, i was just wandering where your running your vaccum line off the tial BOV, and since ur running the electronic boost controller i believe how do u have that set-up??

The dial BOV runs off of the bigger of the top two vacuum ports on the throttle body. I run a manual BC right now, lol. But both the MBC and the EBC get boost source off the hot pipe. I ran the gauge part of the EBC off of the same line as the FPR.

i think that those numbers are screwed. because you should be hitting full boost way sooner then that. specially with stock cams on there. and 20 psi. should be above 400 hp.

With a good tune, I'm sure you'd be correct, ha ha. And remember, a mustang dyno always reads very low compared to most dyno's...

My tune sucks a**! 11.1 AFR under full boost is s***!

Correct. The top two measure boost and vacuum where as the lower one only reads boost...

Yeah, we could meet in Bend, OR. I believe that's about halfway, lol. K-Falls is pretty much on the CA border and in the middle of OR. It would be sweet to meet up! And in the fall, my built motor will definitely be broken in and running! Ha ha

Well, lastnight I got the transmission cleaned up as best as I could without taking FOREVER on it (still took a long time for what I did though), put a new throw out bearing on it, swapped my Nismo clutch fork pivot ball from the old transmission, put a new exedy pilot bushing in the crank, then threw the clutch and flywheel on. After that the transmission went on. During all of this a buddy got most of the engine bay all cleaned up. Here are a couple of pics:

It's just a slip on hose, lol. It just has "fitting covers", which IMO are pretty lame. I want to get just normal hose eventually, but just haven't gotten around to it, ha ha.

I didn't take pics tonight, but I got the motor in and started! Started on the first try! Only bad thing is there is an awesome coolant leak somewhere underneath the intake manifold, so I get to take it off tomorrow... *sigh*
