For right now I will be covering all the maintance issues, I plan on bringing this car back to perfect running condition. I will also give it a thorough cleaning. I will then strip everything off the car that isnt needed, and I will drive the crap out of it.sommmatt wrote:Time for a bad *** SOHC KA project. Don't sell out.
Not a chance, Ive got a thing for popups.keith0486 wrote:"cough" silvia front"cough cough"
I enjoy resurrecting cars that have been left for dead. Stay tuned for a transformation.numbnuts240 wrote:not a bad find. it looks like it will clean up well.
Wrong again, I could care less about the fender, I will pound it out. As for the suspension, it will get some nice dampers, but I will stick with stock ride height, lowered cars dont deal well with 2 feet of snow.keith0486 wrote:ok fine pop ups aren't a bad thing. i just don't like them on the coupes for some reason. lol
but nice find tho find a fender and then slam the *****
I disagree, it affords a finer level of control, and to a well practiced driver, it is a lot more fun. Im not some retard kid, I know that a good set of snow tires, goes a long way.sommmatt wrote:neither does RWD lol
This S13 is meant to replace my winter beater, which I am going to sell. I detest FWD.keith0486 wrote:well you got a winter beater dont you?
There is enough rust that its not a viable project. What would you rather see, me bringing her back to life, and putting her to use, or letting some drifting fanboi run her into the ground/a curb?keith0486 wrote:aww man you cant do that to a 240 thats a sad thing to hear very sad
that sounds alot better.FlatBlackIan wrote:

Dont worry, I will give this pig a good home, and maybe, just maybe, if the underbody is clean enough, I may opt to do a full resto.
If the AC works, I will keep it, I will also be keeping the carpet. The stripping part was aimed more at the engine bay, I hate how cluttered the SOHCs are, I plan to remove all the emissions, clutch fan/shroud, and Id like to put the battery in the trunk. I plan to make working on it as easy as possible.ca18detgabby wrote:
only part of the story I didnt enjoy was the stripping part. if its a beater.... save the AC, save the carpet.... might as well be comfortable.
