i have been reading alot on the forum but no posts really so hello to everyone - anyway just wanted to get some input on my swap - RB25DET in my S10 truck - so far i have it mock fitted and today i put the engine harness on only to find that i have a broken igniter, the wrong MAF and the oil pressure sending unit is damaged - the 2 prongs are still there but the connector itself is broken off - and no thermostat housingg but nothing too bad all things considered - anyway here are a couple pics let me know what you think.

my truck - got to love factory colors lol

last year - 2.2 turbo

i know the mount doesnt look like much yet - its just a test fit for now

I know a guy in MI who is planning the same swap. Pretty awesome!

Your mount setup looks pretty good IMO. No rubber isolators? your one bad mofo LOL.

Good luck man.

1/4" wall should be plenty stout for that style mount. Rubber isolators are your friend .

i just had an FMU - it did ok for only running like 5 psi - as for the mounts i havnt decided if i was gonna use rubber isolators or not - i might just see how it rides and add isolators later if i want

well i have been working on the wiring this past weekend and tonight - unfortunately i have a hacked up harness - i am positive i have a Series 1 b/c i have the igniter that mounts on the top of the valve cover by fire wall, and i only have 1 TPS plug, however, the harness came with some connectors cut off in the area where the MAF and O2 sensor plugs are. in this area of the harness i only have the O2 plug, and then there are just a bunch of cut off wire - i have been tracing them back through the harness and some of them are as follows; - pin 9 A/C- pin 25 boost control solenoid sig- pin 19 power steering oil pressure sw- pin 44 neutral switch- pin 8 which is not used- black wire with white stripe - splices into 4 wires - pin 109: inverse feedback circuit, pin 50: c/u earth, pin 60: c/u earth, and a white wire that goes to the white connector close to the ECU connector- pin 26 air flow meter earth (white with blue stripe)- pin 27 air flow meter intake air quantity signal (orange with blue stripe) pin 26 and 27 wires are in a separate black sheathing with a black wire whcih goes to the small brown connector looking thing by the ECU connector

based on previous reading on the forum i was under the impression that the series 1 was a 4 wire MAF green label J60, and the series 2 was a 3 wire connector with the color wires that i have on my harness hence i am stumped.

i hope all of this makes sense to some of you and that you guys can give me some feedback

thanks for the support on the project!

i dont know what it made for power - not much lol - i believe that motor stock put like 80hp to the wheels. anyway my setup wasn't the best - that turbo is a T3 T04E with a .48 exhaust and .60 compressor which was a little big, it didnt fully spool until like 3500 and if after like 4000 it started to lean out- if i upgradded the fuel pump and injectors it would have been much better but still that motor only revs to like 6000 - but it was alot faster than stock and fun to drive around for a while so i guess it wasnt a waste

i see your sig says you're looking for a p/s pulley. you should just use a dohc ka p/s pump, its practically a direct swap. i have one in my garage that is actually already modded for an rb25 if you need one. you need the pump and the adjuster bracket (pump requires no modification, its the adjuster bracket.) and then you'll need to buy a longer adjuster bolt as the stock rb one is too short.

specific details on this are here: http://www.240sxforums.com/for...+pump
