Hey guys. I noticed the other thread has become quite old. I felt It would be good to create a thread with the pictures of the system installed, to maximize exposure of the kit, with a list of the items. ENJOY!

I hope the turbo works well with the CVTand how much did the whole kit/installation cost you?

It is fine if you are not in the liberty to say

Very Nice Blake

I'd add a turbo blanket though. just me.

Why'd they switch from the Tial BOV to the Synapse?

What's all that chain-mail looking stuff and the aluminum foil?

Sorry, not too familiar with turbos.

That is ThermoTec heat wrapping. With all the new exhaust piping running throughout the engine, new levels of heat are introduced to areas that werent designed to take it. You wrap everything in this protective covering to keep things from being burned and creating problems down the road

Lol, there will always be downers. Usually from people who have their own turbo systems, and want to challenge others because of the competition aspect. This kit is built the very best it can be, and I have no doubts about it. SFR has been in the VQ35DE game since it was first introduced. They have been featured in dozens of magazines, and have been awarded for their efforts. No biggie though, I could never begin to compare with a Saab 9-3

The whole system is wrapped with ThermoTec to create a perfect heat situation. Everything is cherry

The Synapse BOV won best new turbo product last year, at SEMA. It uses simple, yet advanced, seal designs along with high quality aluminum to create an infoulable BOV. No boost leaks, no high pressure failues, just pure flowing power. Tim knows the owner of Synapse very well, and they have run Synapse on all their latest projects. Including his 600 hp Twin Turbo 350z, 600 hp Porsche 944 Turbo, and 800 hp BMW M3. It is arguably the best, and most reliable BOV on the market

I'm not going to shoot my load like everybody else. I said it was a decent kit and it looks alright, what's wrong with that?

I don't know what your Coupe is going to be putting down but don't bring my car into this.

For the record though, since you compared.

Rest is Saab. Thinking of throwing a second Saab turbo kit as well but I'm not sure if it's possible.

Wanna race sometime?

Enjoy your car. Enjoy the turbo.

Is that 320hp or 320 whp.... huge difference.. would be much of a race at 320 hp

It's most certainly WHP, to the wheels.

I'm not that stupid.

first let me say with the cvt turbo altima coupe hitting the streets next week i'm sure nobody here gives a sh*t about your ***saab stories***... if you would like some recognition for having a quick saab go post in a saab forum please or post something up in the general forum. saying his kit is "decent" is an attempt to do what? i can't figure it out. the kit hasn't shown numbers and we haven't heard sound clips. saying it's just "decent" without knowing sh*t about it with a comparison to a saab in a nissan forum will just get you burned bro. trust me, i've learned my lessons on different boards the hard way.

anyway, hats off to blake. another first to have a mod to add to his list of many and he even ponied up the cash for this one. hopefully you guys can get some good dyno numbers, and i can't wait to see some videos.

He's the one that brought it up.

I never said **** about my current car until 'Blake' tried to slam it. Sorry, but I don't put up with that crap.

Good job taking my original comment out of whack though.... 'bro'.
