Hey gang,
We know that the EPA does gas milage testing and releases findings to help consumers determine what gas milage their vehicle should get. We also know that the new Rogue falls under the newest EPA testing guidelines that are supposed to be more accurate than previous years results. However, we also know that the real world is often different than what the EPA tests for, and other owner's results are very helpful.
Here are the EPA expectations for the 2008 Rogue:AWD - 21/262WD - 22/27
What have you gotten in your Rogue? Please update this thread when you have pertinent information to share about your Rogue's gas milage.
Rules:1.) A consistent method of reporting will help everyone agree on accuracy. Please use the following method to determine that gas milage: Fill gas tank until pump automatically stops. (don't try to squeeze every last drop into the tank until it spills onto your shoes). Reset your tripodometer to 0 and drive your Rogue until you need to refuel. Fill until pump automatically stops. Then divide number of miles/kilometers by the number gallons/liters to calculate miles per gallon. Then reset tripodometer and repeat. 2.) Please list your model S/SL and your drivetrain 2WD/AWD. 3.) Please list your predominant source of miles (City, Highway, approximate mix). 4.) Please list any interesting factors (extreme heat, extreme cold, mountain terrain, towing, etc...)
*Update 11/12/07*We have become aware that the on-board computer calculations of gas milage are not so accurate. Please don't report your in car display results in this thread as they cannot be counted on as accurate info. Thanks!
