Greetings ALL!

Proud owner of two pre-owned 2008 & 2009 Pathfinder SE's purchased last weekend! LOVING them! Test-drove one and bought two. Offers we couldn't refuse! Traded in 07 Caliber and 08 Nitro for the more roomy Pathys. Gave up some fule mileage by the room and other positives outweighed the mileage loss. Best wishes to all for a Happy Thanksgiving!

Hey, I have been a proud second owner of an '09 Gotham Grey Rogue S for several months now. I live in Indiana where I have a great family and spend my weeks replacing hips and knees with my orthopedic surgeon boss.

Hey Everyone! Long-time Nissan fan here. This forum has already been a great help for me researching issues for our 2009 Rogue SL. (Had the frozen door handle issue happen this week, and low and behold - got a warranty letter from Nissan about it yesterday!)

If you can't tell from my sig - I'm pretty big into Nissan trucks too!

Finally made choice between Tuscon & Rogue. Got the Rogue 11' SV FWD w/prem pkg. Just what I needed & got a hopefully great price.
1st Nissan (after Toyota, Honda, Volvo) that replaced an old mini-can.
Question, how do you stop the outside tem display from blinking?

Hey there folks. I've been a registered member here for a while, probably because of my wife's Altima. But now I've decided to join the Nissan family. I just traded in my Ford Fusion for a Pearl White 2011 Rogue SV-SL with all the bells and whistles. I'm scheduled to pick it up on Saturday morning. I had to put it off because I have aftermarket stereo equipment in my car, and I needed to get it all taken out. That and my remote starter, which I'm not giving to them unless they give me one in return...lol. Anyway, glad to be here, and looking forward to gaining whatever knowledge I can.

Our 1995 Explorer XLT (300 000 + km) repairs started costing the equivalent of monthly payments on a new car so traded in for the 2011 Rogue S FWD, our first Nissan. We love it but have found some oddities: no locking gas cap, the trunk has no key hole; off OD, it's not in a normal high gear, more like second and revs like crazy. These are just things to get used to. The rest is all positive - great seating, handling, style, CVT is interesting to hear and feel operate, has many upscale features as standard equipment that were optional in the 2010s. Our western trip this summer is going to be a treat.

Hello All!

We've had our 2011 Rogue AWD SV + SL in Platinum Graphite / Grey Leather for all of two days and 10 miles! First time for us buying a brand new car and are still extremely excited! Can't wait to actually have time to drive it; though, we'll get our chance when heading up to the mountains this weekend.

Hi, everyone!

I purchased my 2010 Rogue back in August and love it. It's perfect for what I need right now as a daily driver and couldn't be happier (well, maybe if it were a manual... lol).

All I really have done to the car right now is tint and the foglight mod. I'm looking into doing intake / header/ exhaust, maybe rims /tires for next winter and audio upgrades. After that, I'm finished!

I've been around the QR25DE for the last few years due to my last car - 2007 Sentra SE-R Spec-V. I had a done a little bit of work to it, so, I'm fairly familiar with the engine / innerworkings on this car.. lol.

Since the Rogue is my daily and not a project (never doing that again... lol), I picked up another "toy car" - a 2002 Sentra SE-R. It currently has no motor and I'm deciding what to do with it.

I look forward to talking with all of you!

Hello, new here. I was going to get the 2011 SL, but at the last minute, my practical side took over and I bought the SV....and have been grumbling about being practical ever since. I'm happy with this purchase, but I still wish I'd just gotten what I wanted to begin with. Anyway, I've been reading here for a few weeks, after some posts on another forum scared the bajeebies out of me about the cvt. :ohno: I found that I couldn't relax and enjoy my new Rogue after I discovered the gloom and doom posts I was reading. This site helped me chill out and learn more about my car, especially the slight vibration at low speeds. I was in a panic over that, after reading what I had been reading. So, I'm ONE mile away from the break-in period being officially over and so far it's been a really fun car to drive. I still own a 91 Rodeo manual, still driving great, so I'm hoping the Rogue will last a long time since, as you see, I tend to keep cars a very long time. Oh, and this is my second Nissan. My first was a 1985 200 sx hatchback, manual. Sold it in 2002.

Hi everyone. I am from Winnipeg and new member to this site and I am glad to be here! I am a long time fan of Nissan. Bought my first Nissan Altima in 93 and still driving it today. I like the Altima very much but with its "fading beauty" I decided time to get myself a new "babe" so I got a used 2008 Rogue last July and very happy with it too! I found this site courtesy of an Ebay seller name Qualitymanual4you as I search for info how to install a block heater. My Rogue was a US vehicle from Houston.
That is how I got here and very excite to be able to read, post and replying with everyone here soon.

Hello all, been reading this forum for a while and finally joined. My wife and I purchased a 2011 Rogue SV AWD w/premium package at the end of december. After 5k trouble free miles, we are really enjoying it! It is the black amethyst color and at first I didn't really like it, but it is starting to grow on me. We previously owned a 2007 altima with 130k miles on it with nothing done to it but oil changes and a couple of air filters, never an issue. We hope we get many trouble free miles out of the rogue as well.

Hi all, new Rogue owner here. Wife and I traded in the gas guzzling 05 Pathfinder SE for a 11 Rogue SV w/SL. It's a tad smaller but I think we should be able to live. I also own a 2000 Sentra SE that's been boosted and have been around the nissan boards for awhile. I am quite familiar with the QR25 and the aftermarket parts for it. This will be the wifes DD so not to many plans for it until stuff needs replaced.

Bone stock with about 50 miles on it,

Hello all.

I currently own/drive a 2001 Mazda MPV. I was shopping for a car for my son yesterday and while at the dealer, I got interested in a Rogue. It'll be closer to the end of the year before I purchase but I like to be informed and will be lurking around for a while and asking a few question to help me decide. I live in the area of Toronto Ontario (Mississauga).

Thanks.

Ello Ello,
Got my 2011 Rogue SL AWD last Wed. Traded my falling apart 09' Dodge Journey for it and couldn't be happier about the great mileage the Rogue has.
My Rogue is a nice black, also purchased the front bug deflector, side deflectors, kick plates, extended the warranties to 160,000, free life time oil and filter,
remote start and on Monday I will be ordering the WeatherTech floor and cargo liners.

Hello all,
Purchased a 2011 Rogue AWD in upstate New York about three months ago and now have about 3K on it. I am experiencing a lot of constant vibrating in the steering wheel and really the entire front end of the vehicle when I am going under 40mph. (I also hear a loud noise coming from the transmission, but was told that was normal.) It is incredibly distracting and is getting worse. I have brought it to the dealer and was told that the problem was sand in the rims of my tires. They cleaned them and told me I was all set. However the problem is getting worse and I made another appointment for this week. How annoying! The 10 year old Altima that I traded in drove better than this! Anyone have this same problem?

Howdy folks,

Didn't see this intro page before I posted a question. I purchased a 2011 Nissan Rogue a couple of months back. Pretty happy with the mileage that I'm getting compared to my old '04 CRV. Loving the hi-tech features too. Glad to have found this forum!

Hello to all of you. I just bought my wife a fully loaded 2011 Rogue SL package and decided to do some looking around and found this site. I was considering the Marono. However, my wife fell in love with the Rogue and after driving she was hooked. I'm loving this little SUV and can't wait to get to use it more. I've bought the rear bumper protector and plan on buying the wind deflectors and possible a remote starter. The dealer wanted $100 for the protector even though Nissan has it listed for $41. Got it for $38 on ebay. Anyway, I guess that's how all dealerships are.

Hello again to all and have a great week.

Hello all,

I actually found myself at a dealership last week with plans on picking up a used FJ cruiser I had my eyes on and ended up going home with a black on black '11 Rogue SV-SL. It had all the bells and whistles I had grown to love on my old car as having the potential to take me on a few dirt roads on the weekends here in the desert. This is my first Nissan. I'm looking forward to many fun years with the new CUV!

Hi to all from your Northern neighbor.

We purchased our 2010 SL AWD Rogue a year ago and just love it. I did fee add on including the rear bumper guard, full 3M tape and bug deflector (winters are hard on your paint here in Calgary), cargo mat. Recently installed the 2011 Rogue door chrome trim and the rear view mirror with built in compass and homelink. This is a great site and a lot to share from Nissan owners as we also have a 2009 Maxima.
