Spacers arrived today... all I need to do is drop by Autozone for the brake fluid (I think we decided on DOT 4), and I should be ready to go.

Done... two spacers, lots of studs. In fact... that sounds suspiciously familiar to NICO... two space cadets, lots of studs? Nevermind.

I don't mind the drive... just depends on the weather. As you might imagine, retail & Christmas means I don't have a ton of time on my hands. I have Tuesday of this week off... other than that we are looking at that week after Christmas. You let me know what works out best for you.

Value is $100 each from joe, id do $75 for the pair since they do have like 20k on them, but theyll get you as good gas mileage as new ones (replaced them with brand new ones-no change)

Wes... I have tomorrow and Thursday off this week. Let me know what works best for you. I am really excited about getting started on the brakes!

BTW... I did a couple of oil changes in rapid succession (let the car run for 30 minutes) and ran some MMO through the engine. Finally, drained everything and put Mobil1 oil and oil filter back in... used some BG44K, and the engine seems to be running like a champ.

I am not as worried as I was...I think I will still try to tackle under Plenum, KS, O2's, thermostat, and Plugs next. Not sure how soon til I will have enough money to do that... but, next on the list.

Hmmm..... Well ill tell you ill be up at the lake all or most of the week after new years, but your welcome to come to my crib on thursday (tomorrow im going to the indy auto show).... Its more of a drive, less accomodating garage... makes no difference to me... If you are going to be off the week after new years at any time, that will work fine too...

We can accomplish the same thing at either place... it makes no difference to me because i'll be in both places... ill be at home all this week for new years, and then back up to the lake to get some of our equipment running .... I'll be partially rebuilding an old mercury snowmobile thats been sitting for about 9 years... as well as 6x6 (yes, 6 wheel drive) ATV ......

I guess I would prefer to meet you at the lake, since I already know where it is. And, the drive isn't as far as heading to Indy.

I am off Sunday and Tuesday of next week.... so, Jan 1 and 3.

Either of those work?

Hey guys....thanks for sharing.....but has anyone ever heard of email?

There was a time on this when posters were more careful to make their posts relevant to all other members.

by "anyone", do you mean me? If so...then, no. I've never heard of email.

Was that time during the past couple of months? Because I don't remember anyone mentioning a stipulation about posts meeting any kind of relevance criteria. Of course, I'm just a newb...

Yank the plug (s) and squirt in about a tablespoon of ATF a couple days before you try to turn it over.

Hows that for relevance?

Good advice.... however it is a 2 cycle, and My uncle most likely fogged it before it was put away..... I may put a little 2 cycle oil in the cylinders and bump it overa few times

Well... spent a couple of hours with Wes today and he finished up the Z32 brake upgrade for me... and my impression? These things suck... NOT!

Wow... smooth, quiet, and FAST stopping. Absolutely love 'em. And, for the price, a hell of a lot better than replacing OEM Q45 stuff.

Wes, you rock. Again.
