slackzack,

Knock off those disco/bell-bottom fender flairs and bolt on some ZG's and you'd be stylin'.

Mark's Z gives me a "chubby"!

I'm willing to bet most of the z31 owners here already know me, so this is for everyone else I guess. My name is Jon Martin, I own a 1985 z31 turbo heavily modified. My wife owns a 50th anniversary edition z31 which is stock. I do fabrication and know quite a bit about performance. Here are the cars.

Some of the pictures are slightly old, some things have changed a little because they are always changing. But this gives a rough idea of what is going on with it. If you care that much, you can check out my whole setup in the link that follows. I just didn't want to pollute the thread too much with my crap. http://www.z31performance.com/...=4370

I also fabricate parts for customers, like exhaust manifolds to relocate the turbo, Sheet metal intake plenum's, fuel rails, and whatever else needs to be done I guess.

New to the site...

group of us are building an '85 z31 and planning to go to the 2008 Grassroots in Florida.

I also just had a track turbo z31 (84) but I drifted it for a bit and sold it... was a blast though!

If you went to craigslist and read, you'll notice that it has been painted, it is just dusty from storage. The shell inside and out is mint. just needs reassembly by someone who knows what they are doing. thx

If you read the craigslist add (Virginia, Hampton Roads 240Z) it is painted inside and out. It is dusty from being in storage. The shell is in mint condition and just needs reassembly by someone who knows what they are doing. Also the price said OBO. I have more pics if anyone interested.Thx

Here's a few pictures of my 85 300.Would have taken more at the time, but the battery in the camera was dying.

I was going to take some more pictures earlier, and as I backed the car out of the garage this happened....

This is what happens when you're not paying attention. (another view)

Anyone know a cheap place to get a mirror? E-Bay wants a minimum of $45 for one mirror.

This is my current '71 240. I drag race it up at US-131 Dragway here in MI. My best so far is 14.9 @ 91. It was running an L28 with header and triple Dellortos.

Here's a few more I've had over the years:This was a '78 I picked up for $50 a few years ago. I drove home (10 miles) with no clutch!

This one I got for free with the purchase of the $800 engine for the drag car..... this is after paint. I sold it for $3000 in Chicago.

This was a trade-in car that I drove the summer of 2003.

I purchased this one after looking at it back in '99. The guy wasn't sure about selling so I left a phone number. He called back in the spring of 2003. Jeez, how did he find that scrap of paper bag I wrote it on? I bought it on payments for a total of $200 and drove it home! A little later, I traded it straight up for this '87 300ZX...
