If you have any hi-res shots of the car, I'd love a couple.

Thanks Mark!

OMFG it's Kim!!! Mark, that has to be my favorite 240Z! You did an absolutely awesome job on it...a very badass ride!

Brad's Z is my second favorite. You did an awesome job on yours also!

Some hi-res shots of both cars would be great. I need some new wallpaper.

^ Clean! What's been done to it?

And what does it say on the side?

I haven't done much to it yet. Intake (team green), automatic -> manual conversion, various fixes, eibach springs and tokico something shocks (blue - free with parts car :D). Had a car pc in it for awhile, but I took it out because I'm thinking about selling it.Current parts in my garage include a second intake plenum with 60mm tb attached, '88 front end, and a few other things which might end up on it later this year.

The side says "Fujiwara Tofu Shop (private vehicle)"

Mark, i just wanted to tell you that i absolutely love your car. I saw it in super street, and just because of your car i bought it on the spot. i love how you didn't just go the bolt on path and made your car handle and turn like a new vehicle. I personally am a toyota guy (im track prepping my 1990 Celica Alltrac), but i would take your car anyday over the baddest built supra or mr2 out there.

Really, what you did to your car is aspiring to me. its always harder to go the custom route when something you want doesn't exist for your car, and its much easier to compromise and get a bolt on piece that will "just work". I plan on finishing my custom twin scroll set up and competing in Autox and NASA road racing, i hope one day my car will be able to be competitive with something of your caliber. Keep up the good work.

Hello all, I Just started getting into these Z cars over the past 2 months or so. I bought a '79 280ZX coupe with an auto trans for $750 in drivable condition, then bought a '80 2+2 from the same guy for $250 to eventually rebuild for the wife to drive. After having the cars for a month or so, I was offered a running '82 280ZX coupe for free, once the owner found time to strip a few parts off of it to fix his wifes car. I promptly found out what parts he needed and swapped a rear stub axle and brake rotor off the '80 2+2, along with a hood spring assembly for the complete running car. The '82 was last registered and driven in '91, but started and drove home with just a jump start!!! They're not too pretty to look at yet, but I think they may have some potential. Both run excellent for being totally stock, but I'm looking forward to picking everybody's brains here and learning more about these cars from those of you with vast knowledge about these things.

I just joined aboard earlier today, I'm mostly on Hybrid Z.

But here is my 78 280z... still under construction with the new engine setup, but she will be alive again soon!

Here's some pics of it in the process as of right now w/ my new build that I've been doing in my garage...

Nice cars. Especially Mark's and ZForce. I have to get you pics of the Datsun running around here. It's pretty sweet. I will probably do a Datsun when I am done with my 91. I have been working on it for 3 years here and there, nothing hardcore. But Mark needs to call my wife and tell her to get off my a ss. She says I need to hurry up with it. But Iam not anywhere close to 9 years.

^^^ It looks like you need to take you power supply unit apart and solder the connections on the circuit board. It is a common problem and an very easy fix. I did it to mine and it worked flawlessly until I took it out the other week.

BTW it looks like my 88's twin. Very nice!
