I know I'm a little late. But for you who question your KA, I've got a bud with 211,000 on motor. Slapped a turbo on it, been running 10 lbs for close to 8-9 months. Eats stangs, maros, and most others for breakfast, lunch, and dinnner. The KA is insane.

i think point is, the ka is a beast.

i mean, a truck engine on a sporty 2 door...should haul it around for a good while.

hope mine lasts for much longer....being the 3rd owner is kinda scurry cuz you dont know how much the previous owners pushed it. of course the last guy i bought it from said he just drove it regular...he was asian and pretty young, so lol sure buddy. im not trying to be sterotpyical, im asian and young myself...i try not to push my motor too much....but its auto so i cant really kill it like a stick can anyways.

Rolled lol I dunno who would roll it up to 400K befor they sold it. Just bought it from I guy in clayton park 2 days ago the body is in amazing condition (considering I'm in N.S. Canada) and my moms 98 buick has twice the rust. So as long ast the engine hold up over the summer I'm happy.

Mine has a 165k, my fuel system died this week but other than that no problems its survived everything a 15 year old can put it through including Nitrous. Looking forward to a CA though.

I got to 145,000 like 2 days ago. Its at about 145,210 or something now and on a 95'.

Only mechanical problems were a leaky water pump i replaced and the radiator neck cracked so replaced that. Thats it. Just been changing oil, plugs and air filter and seafoam treatments here and there.

Got the car at about 120k on it and im the second owner

120000 on a 95, ive done a headgasket, TPS, coolant temp sensor, coolant temp sender, idle air control.. fixed all the damn coolant hoses, including the ones for the heater core which are a *****.... power steering is still leaking slowly, not bad though. But internally the motor seems to still be running suprisingly strong, keeping in mind the **** that it went through especially the overheating and oil leaking from the headgasket, the motor is built tough. Its tough but its hardly fast.

I had fidanza flywheel, aluminum crank pulley, racing test pipe, intake, and that crap was still too damn slow.

my 89 has been in the family since november of 88, and has around 250,000 actual miles on chassis, and about 150000 on motor. best mileage i got was on a trip from new orleans to cleveland, during which i only stopped to fill up. mpg was 34 the entire way on 87 from about 9 different gas stations
