...You know you're a Honda owner when...(sounds like a possible new thread)...the first thing you do is put a list of stickers on your car thinking that they will increase the hp when it just increases your chance for winning the "Ricer of the Universe" award or getting your degree in :bsflag thanx for the input 2402nr

You know you're a honda owner when you spend alot of $$$$$ on bodywork, wheels, etc.......and you go to a show thinking you are the sh**, and someone has done the EXACT same thing to their honda, only theirs looks better because they spent more $$$$ than you.

And on top of that, nobody even pays attention to your ride because there is a dope 240 parked next to you with an sr swap.

If I wanted a hopped up miata, I'd have bought one, modded it, and then taken the other 10 or so thousand dollars and bought something nice for the Rynomobile.

while my car doesn't have the gobs of torque that any FI car does, I have still smoked several SR20DET swapped Nissans in my area.

obviously if they were heavily modded I wouldn't have smoked them, but then again if I was as heavily modded (and still NA) things would remain the same.

my car doesn't have an aluminum wing, or body kit. my "rims" are OEM 15". The styling is clean and my car is fast.

i've considered buying a 240 and swapping an sr20det, but honestly i'm not sure now that I'd want to associate with people like you guys if this is the attitude you have towards other cars that deserve respect.

3) So you're not a ricer, If you had done your homework you'd know that a 240 is not built for running in a straight line. Which is why most of us tackle suspension upgrades first, then start adding power.

YumVTEC, no one could possibly care if you were gonna buy a 240 and do the SR swap, in fact, you being a honda boy, some of us are probley happy you arent, save a 240 for someone who knows how to use it, and prevent another honda boy from trying to get a SR when he really doesn't know what he is getting into. Stop trying to act like we were so privilaged you were gonna buy a 240, majority of the ppl could give a **** less.

Wow. Ya know I think it's kinda nice we got some Honda guys over here reading our forums (although they were probably linked over here from someone saying we are talking sh*t). But really, you guys should lay off the high and mighty thought process you have going on (not all of you, just some on this board). Just cuz we happen to own a slightly rare car that handles decently out of the box, doesn't mean we need to rag on Hondas left and right. ****, even Honda's have good suspension, being double wishbone all the way around. I just hate to see all **** being slung around just because they own a Honda. Personally, haiting on someone because they own a certain car sounds a lot like hating on someone cuz they have the wrong color skin. Sounds a little redneck to me.

See, the only problem with that theory is that this was all ONE BIG JOKE. did every body get that? I sure hope so, because the whining is hurting my ears. Maybe I can make you feel better. Sure we love the 240, but Nissan also made a 4-door SE-R. And they refused to give us the sr20det. Can I get a Skyline over at Mossey? NOPE. Besides, It's not Hondas that are the problem. It's some of the people who own them. If you're not "that guy" then relax. Otherwise, have a laugh. D@mn can we not be so sensitive?

If you can't laugh at yourself, you have no business laughing at anyone else. I spend so much time laughing at everybody else, I don't mind it coming back at me. The only problem I have with anybody buying Hondas because everyone has them is that no one ever asked me if I wanted a share of the profit.
