As far as I can tell, two 240 guys entered the forum and posted to only get a rise out of G35 owners. Like Sean (G_Whizz) mentioned, we try and keep the peace in our community here on NICO.

With that being said, we come down hard on those who try and disrupt that peace. But I understand why you guys would post, I was jealous of expensive cars too when I was younger.

The G35 isn't about pure speed, and it's owners know this when they purchase one. If you owned own, you'd understand.

It's not that i'm jealous at all (not saying it like its a bad thing) I am just a fan of the old school. I wouldn't rather have anything in this world but an s13 hatch. Even if I had to keep the STOCK Ka in there. They are just fun cars to me and I love them. And I did drive a G35 when I still worked at a body shop and the only thing I can say is...."Ballin out of control"ahahhahaa they are very nice cars fast as hell too and lookin down at all 6 of those gears just wanting to go through them all. But yah i'm always gonna be happy with my s13.

:: (TV announcer voice) now back to your regularly scheduled program:: You know you drive a G35 when looking for a parking spot in a crowded parking lot isn't as frustrating as it was in previous cars (especially when the are a bunch of bad a** women walking around )

No one accused you of street raceing?? And that's great that you don't!!

I have no problem with you. Anytime you want to come to the G forum your welcome to! Hell... the more the merrier... but contribute something or become involved in a discussion/topic.

All you did was bring a big wooden spoon and stir a pot and take a jab at G owners.

Carry on..

Well mycoupe8urs said something like "Not everyone races everywhere they go" So thats why I mentioned that. And next time if I post here it will be on topic.

Remember what I told you the last time I had been away from the forum for a while Sean? That exchange between you and the two 240 guys is a prime example of what turns my stomach at times here. Kudos to you for bringing the hammer down swiftly and with prejudice. Props also to Ilvemynissan for being man enough to apologize for any feelings that were hurt.

Aside from that,

You know you drive a G35 when all the 240 owners lurk here 'cause they WISH they owned one!

(That's a joke, just so any 'lurkers' don't get butt-hurt)

Yes, pull might be a bit strong, but I like Jeff and I don't want him running off and trading his G in on a Mustang. This place wouldn't be the same without him.

Relax people, don't blow a gasket. It was a joke

Some G drivers always seem to front an attitude to 240 owners. I guess I can't blame them with all the ghetto 240's being bought by the ricers who used to drive honda's revving up on them. Those people ruin the 240sx's reputation.

You know you drive a G35 when the second you merge on the highway, you find yourself in 5th gear at 90 mph without even realizing it
you know you drive a G35 when you go out and buy one even though you know your spouse wants to buy an altima.

you know you drive a g35 when you sit home for 2 days cause you don't want to get road salt on it.

Hey bro... look, it's not like that. I have no attitude toward 240 owners. In fact, yours is one of the nicest looking ones I have seen. But then, I didn't go to the 240 side and talk smack. In fact, I have never been in any of the 240 forums. I have no problem with anyone on NICO checking us out... I do have a problem with anyone, not just non-G35 owners, coming in and verbally slapping any others here. Believe me, there are a few G owners here who have gotten a beat-down from the mods for poor forum etiquette. It's not reserved to just 240 guys.

I will say that, because we can't hear a tone of voice here, sometimes what is meant as a joke can easily be taken as attitude, especially when there are some existing raw feelings from previous postings in other threads.

As a (questionably) wise man once said here in L.A., "Can't we all just get along?"

Haha no problem man. Sorry if my tone came across a tad harsh. Dealing with all the 240 noob questions that have been answered a million times over has taken its toll on me. Thanks for the compliment!

On a brighter note, I'm thinking of trading my Mercedes ML 320 in for a used newer G35 sedan. However, all I've seen are black leather interiors and I absolutely will not get the black leather interior. Don't want to die of heat stroke here in So Cal

I hear that loud and clear... but I gotta tell ya, I have a black leather interior, and haven't had much problem with the heat. The AC cools things down pretty quickly, and the design of the windows keeps direct sun from beating down on the inside too much. Couple that with a good tint on the back and sides, and I don't think that the black leather would be a problem... however, the tan leather sure looks good with the right exterior color!

Now, a black exterior paint? That's a whole other thing. I've had one black vehicle in SoCal, and that will be my last one!

Ok... I won't even continue to comment on what happened a few posts ago. Other then the fact that you brought up a good point BigWill... Smackdowns are not reserved for 240 owners.. it's for anyone that trolls for trouble...We're all NICO family here. I have no problems with 240 owners.

Moving on..

They make a beautiful wheat leather interior. I don't know whether they make a white or not. The wheat is light enough you won't have the problems that a black interior brings. (I know, my max had black leather). Another nice feature allows rolling down all the windows remotely on those hotter days. You'll love the G.

My car is completely black and the ability to roll the windows down with the push of a button makes thinking about the summer a little less harsh

To the 240 guys. One of my best friends (he was supposed to by my best man at my wedding) has an S13 and an S14. I have no beefs with 240 guys, BUT...

Just last week, I was at a stop light next an a beat up late 80s early 90s 240. I started looking over at it just to see what the guy had done to it and he had the audacity to start revving on me even though he was going left and I was going straight.

It's jerks like that, that give ricers a bad name. I'm part asian. I like rice!!!

This one is more Infiniti general, but you know you drive a G35 when you have a tampon in your first aid kit. That's one high class period your girl will have when she uses that INFINITI tampon.

I get a kick out of that every time because what were they really thinking? I'm sure I'll get some scrutiny from some of the ladies on here.

I park my car in our underground parking garage at work and EVERYDAY I rev up the engine to hear how good it sounds... I think it's kind of like singing in the shower though... does it really sound that good? I love the sound though!

GUILTY!

To go along with it also.....you know you drive a g35 when you're in a parking garage and you start your car up with the door open and sunroof open so you can hear the exhaust better.

Hehehe. when I'm in a covered parking garage I rev up the other car, the one with the V8, and laugh as I set off all the car alarms. It's funniest damn thing.
