I just watched the worst movie ever made in the history of filmmaking: Elephant. This was written and directed by Gus Van Sant and was touted as a masterpiece. IMDB even rated it a 7.5. So my roommate and I just got done watching it and I am so angry. It was horrible. The dialogue was pathetic, the acting terrible and the camera angles were disgusting. What a cheap way to make money off of a real tragedy. I hate this move and urge all of you to never let anyone you know see it.

Elephant was an AMAZING movie, very well thought out and artsy. Just because you don't prefer a type of film, doesn't mean you should bash it.

Don't be ignorant.

Riddick wasnt bad. A little thin on plot. But Vin did alot of fighting and killing. I thought it ranked an 7.5 out of 10.

Plan 9 From Outer Space. So bad that it was really funny. I highly suggest that everyone see this movie as reference for how bad a movie can be.

If you see Starship Troopers 2, you will forget about your hatred for all other bad movies. It is so horrible human brains don't have the capability to remember why they hated other movies.

I find Elephant to be one of Van Sant's less accessible, uncompromising films. Audiences who went in cold turkey, unfamiliar with Van Sant's previous work, either loved it or hated it. I belong in the former group. The shooting scenes weren't sensationalized to me, if anything they were a bit detached so I didn't find the film at all exploitative. Great movie, important movie.

I'd just like to point out that both the original F&F and Bad Boys 1 & all had entertainment value. If you only watch movies for their sheer plausibility and true-to-life accuracy, then might I suggest you find the Discovery channel and stay out of the theater? ;)
