I just watched the worst movie ever made in the history of filmmaking: Elephant. This was written and directed by Gus Van Sant and was touted as a masterpiece. IMDB even rated it a 7.5. So my roommate and I just got done watching it and I am so angry. It was horrible. The dialogue was pathetic, the acting terrible and the camera angles were disgusting. What a cheap way to make money off of a real tragedy. I hate this move and urge all of you to never let anyone you know see it.

My list:

a) The Brady Bunch Movie: Proof positive that movies based on TV Shows don't always work. I remember going to see this with my gf at the time and I wound up chewing her out afterward.

b) Speed 2: Cruise Control: Sorry, but the first one was much better and held my attention.

c) Blues Brothers 2000: Please tell me why they desecrated one of the greatest movies filmed in Chicago?

d) The Fintstones: Proof positive that a movie based on a cartoon doesn't always work.

e) You've Got Mail: I went with a date to see it and wound up doing this: zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

f) Deep Impact: All the good scenes were at the end of the movie.

Then that one with harrison forward where he's a polititian and his wife and another polititians husband crash and die in a plane and for some reason harrison and the other chick make out in a limo... Horrible movie.

Man, you guys are naming popular movies. If they are popular, they aren't the worst movies ever. Worst movies are the ones you have never heard of.

I saw many movies listed as "worst movies" that I loved. Days of Thunder, Speed Zone, The Beach....all good movies.

Chingon mentioned Pi. Yeah, that movie sucked pretty bad...despite its popularity.

But I got one to top them all...how many people have seen Amazon Women on the Moon? There is a movie that sucks! Also, I thought the movie Cube sucked balls as well, however I hear some people actually liked it.
