or did you mean pwns?!BigWill wrote:+1 for de-badged. I did it to mine. IMO, the re-badging to "Skyline" is simply about rarity. You don't see them around, so it would tend to attract attention among those who know.
it's kinda like doing this:
Hey... VW owns Rolls, so, why not??
Lexus Gs = toyota avalonsuby01 wrote:in america people tend to want to stand out being able to tell others that i dont drive a nissan its a infiniti as same thing with lexus gs that is a toyota "something" cant put my fingure on it. but just as the simple honda accord in europe is the TSX that we know here. and you cant call it a honda because then you wont be viewed as succesful or w.e it may be.
http://www.honda.pl/szczegoly.php?aukcj ... acja_max=6
and the japan site for skyline..ya dont ask me how i got there, but after a lot of trial and error of random clicking on japans nissan site i finally found it.
http://www2.nissan.co.jp/SKYLI....html
p.s. $27k so under $30k for a skyline/g35.
and the 350z coupe base price in europe is $67k.
the first infiniti dealership in europe will be built in 2009
Clear as mud!!Uh - isn't the Avalon FRONT Wheel Drive - if so then it is not the same car as the Lexus G.Tampa G35 Sedan 6MT wrote:

Again not true - the original and all subsequent Avalons are built on stretched Camry Platforms. Do a wikepedia search or search industry (not car and driver type sources).Tampa G35 Sedan 6MT wrote:Avalon is FWD but still shairs the platform... as the GS... Ask toyota... they Im sure have a good reson for it...

That is all... carry on gents.
I'm not talking about how the cars look - I'm talking about how they are built.Tampa G35 Sedan 6MT wrote:If you look at the two cars parked right next to each other you will see what i am talking about.. They are the same car... the way the doors are cut.. the size of them are the same... Booth have the same style on the tail lights as far as shape.
You can check the web site and see the length and size of everything.
And just becasue it is a camry platform don't mean that the gs and avalon use the larger camry platform... But I also know that I have heard that The IS is a smaller Gs Platform... That would also make sense at why it isn't a camry platform.
I am a Lexus/Toyota Lover... I only got a G becasue i wanted a 6speed sedan.
I had 2 lexus before my G
01 Is 300 and 03 Gs 430
Park them next to each other and you will see that they are built on the same platform!
really confused as to what that means but my post with the pictures in it meant is that the accord is a tsx. and the only difference is that in america we want the differenciate oursleves as infiniti drivers not nissan. its all in the 2 previous posts.Tampa G35 Sedan 6MT wrote:I was talking for the Us Production...
The accord is way bigger than a TSX that is why it is The TL.. and not the TSX in USA
Other countries might be different
