Because that's why they buy the 240 in the first place.Ignorant ricers (not too much offense intended) trade in their phat Civics and 'Tegs for a beat up S13 for the sole purpose of being JDM tyte.They know the SR20 is by far the fastest engine ever and S15s are cool because magazines tell them so.Makes sense to me... :rolleyes

LOL me too! Well the first thing that I did with my first 240 was exhaust and then Veilside CIII bodykit. Afterr i got into an accident I was going to buy the SR20 motor then a cheap 240 and pay someone to put the motor in. After that, get the S15 headlight conversions, BUT wallking away from the accident with 5K and a girlfriend, pretty much left me assed-out when it came to the car. Needless to say by the time I found the car, I was already down to my last 2K. Hmm word of advice never get a girlfriend while your trying to build a car.

heh, because they're new, and they don't know any better. I used to be exactly like that, lookin for sr20 clips and s15 front ends before i even got the car. Now that i got it, and know more about it, i'm keeping the zenki look and turboing the KA.

I traded my integra GS-R for a beat up s-13 am I a ricer?actually i couldnt afford the 500$$ a month insurance so I needed a new platform and i wanted a RWD one. always liked them just never looked into them due to that damn KA thing only 155hp pleez...maybe if it weighed as much as a crx it might be fast...saw an article about the sr20, rwd, cheap insurance and a 205 hp motor that can be stuffed in, I'm game.I guess i'm just a car junkie I dont care if it runs off gas, rice, bratwurst, or pasta as long as it gets me there fast, just seems rice-burners are a little more economical for me right now. when I get some money it'll be German, and when I'm rich Italian.and on the weekends will be my '67 gt 500

Sure. I have big dreams for this car. ..but who doesn't? I know it'll take a lot of time, money, effort, etc., but people first need to dream in order to have an idea of what to do.

..but I will admit this: I got the car because it was cheap, and I thought it was cool(and RWD). Does that make me a "ricer"?

I don't have a problem with "show" modifications--if they're done right. Some people want a fast care. Some people want a show-room car. Some people want both. Some people probablly don't even want a car!

However, if you think you're "bad-***" and talk all tyte and think your ride is the shiznit _BECAUSE_ you put on an ugly spoiler (without doing anything to make it justified), install a "racing gril" (you know, those pieces of chain-link fence you find on eBay for $5), gawdy yellow-coloured racing seat covers (especially those "universal fit" ones) or glow-in the dark automatic shift knob--well, that's disgusting.

(Although I dispise afore mentioned "mods", hey, it's YOUR car. Just learn how it works, how to drive it, and how to talk intelligently about it).

I have much more respect for someone who takes a bottle of Armorall (spelling?) to their interior and some degreaser to the engine bay... a car doesn't have to hurt your eyes (or ears) to be well taken care of.

Just my $0.2 (Yes, 20 cents. Thats 10x!)

BTW, in case you're wondering, floormats add like 20HP--but only the NISMO ones. (You should see how fast I go now!)

Ohh, I didn't want to make it sound like making your engine bay look pretty makes the engine run good. Taking care of any problems is definately very important.

droptopsilvia, I would highly suggest going with a different setup. From my experience the WS's are horrible. There really isn't anything good about them. Plus APEXi's customer service sucks (from my experience). Also my screen name sucks.
