You know i almost wonder if there is a riced out forum, like where the people that do this stupid stuff to their cars get together and share bad ideas. LOL
Joke, haha, heehee. When my G's weight reduction is done, we'll see.BlackSmoke wrote:Gotchya just having fun but his 05 G cant beat mine I promise you that. Sorry about the off topic bull session. Let's move on.
I have some of the materials already, but I need a compressor an gravity fed sprayer for the gel coat and release film.rmezz13 wrote:Carbon Fiber always FTW.... If i ever get the money CF everything - fenders, doors, hood, hatch..... Then paint it all.
Zex's kits are crap IMHO. They claim your car can handle a 100HP shot... LOL. I wouldn't risk my pistons on that. That's about 25HP more than the maximum of what most (including myself) consider safe, and 75 is pushing it's limits on "safe".rmezz13 wrote: ZEX wet kit for 350z is $695 and has 100hp jets....

You would have to reduce a little more weight than that I do believe. The Z is a little more than 400lbs lighter.Sentientbydesign wrote: Joke, haha, heehee. When my G's weight reduction is done, we'll see.

Also remember, the Z has a lower final drive gear (in the differential), stock. So although at the crank the cars may both have the same HP, at the tires the Z will put it to use more effectively. I know that it's not much of a difference in the FD gear, but a little is actually a lot when it comes to gearing.
Got a bottle heater, and don't need a window switch as long as i can remember to not WOT below 2500 revs.Beancooker wrote:

They also fail to mention, that you will be missing some key components. Window switch & bottle heater. The window switch keeps the nitrous spraying while only in a certain RPM range. The bottle heater keeps the N2O at a consistant temp, and more consistant pressure.
N2O is something that will probably go in the G35 someday. but to do it as I consider right, it'll cost me about $1200.
