I! have the cleanest engine bay! You should see it, I chromed the engine bay, and chromes most of the metal parts in my engine bay. Every time I open my hood, I have to play the HALLELUJAH! theme... That's how clean and shiney my engine bay is.

this is my jobby, try to keep it clean so it doesn't catch on fire and I end up like newman on seinfeld when the postal truck caught on fire. my spray paint job earned me 15hp by releasing backpressure on the conuder valve.

I use the cheapest autzone degreaser, I've heard simple green will stain alum. so stay away from that. windex for most of the painted stuff that has dirt and not grease. use a very light coat of armor all to shine up all of the plastic. The main thing is to touch it up everyweek and replace any leaky seals.

nelson8708, what type of front clip is your friend planning to use? Fiberglass or steel? I am looking for a couple racing fiberglass front clips myself.

That car looks neat.

From fresh & clean, to wild & nasty (and dirty)

dynos are scarce in my area, to the point that I am building my own. Been working on it for several months.

Closest chassis dyno is 250 miles, not going to drive this car that far. I would trailer it, but havent had another reason to make a trip.

So nope I dont have dyno before and after.

Yep, the local universities diesel tech department has a chassis dyno, they wont let me on it.

But, I am making myself a very nice inertia roller chassis rack with detachable current brake for load testing, have about 3k into it so far, another 5 to go.

Good Start, I guess ( no I am just f'in with you). If you guys don't know, this is a guy to talk to N/A or not! He has some stuff. But I want to see your bay! I expect an SOHC carb'd or ITBs, but nothing else, except for some decent standalone. Am I right?

Is that U of I by any chance? Maybe I can pull some strings (I know lots of Mech.E's) and let you on there.

Where'd you get the ITB setup?
