That widebody, coupe Miata is by AutoKonexion and sponsored by XXR...

I think it's a pretty good example of an extreme MX-5.

When i said the space ship look i was talking about bodykits not the interior. I like interiors with a bunch of gauges as well but i think when someone takes a car with a good overall shape or good body lines and add those huge front and rear bumpers with the huge openings, it destroys the look. I can't think of the name of one body kit but alot of people who had the mid 90's eclipse had it. The 240 has a good overall shape and you don't need much to add to it to make it look good. The kits that are available for the 240 are nice.I want a 240 most likely a S14 to use as a daily driven promotional vehicle for my garage i'm soon to open. 240 's here in maryland are more common in the junkyards then on the street especially the s13 and s14. I think its a shame thats where they end up but the STI, EVO, SRT and the old vetran the Civic are more common to roam the streets.

I have been reading your posts and i see no consistancy in your points of veiw. It seems you change your opinions to be on the same side as what we are commenting about.

What other 240's are there? S15? this doesnt make sense.

Have you built any other cars before? What kind of garage/shop are you opening?

they both look good 2 me but if you want something that looks more modern than i'd go with a s14 mainly the 97-98's

IMO the S13 hatch is the best of all. Want to build nice street car? Make it clean. No half-assing. Make yourself happy with the car before you care about what others think.

Well rounded...any of the Nissan engines are good choices, the lowest in the list for me would be the RB20 since it is a more expensive swap for what you get, but not knocking it. Kas are good platforms to keep it simple. I like the RB25 since I have one, RB26 is a pantie dropper, but expensive, not too hard to swap. Then there is the 1J/2J swap that also will turn heads. And the LS1+ engine swaps w/ nice cam lope are excellent...can't get that noise out of the import engines.

Nice clean kit with well done paint...I'm a fan of monochrome colors...white, silver, grey, charcoal, black especially. Wheels are important, I like 5Zeigen FN01r-c's w/ some nice stretched runner on 'em. Suspension is a must...for a street car you could do fender flares, but fender roll might go a long better with the clean look.

Interior...Bride seats. Gauge selection is important, I've had good lick with Greddy and STRI in my race car. Keep it clean and tasteful, nice small accents.

And with that said, I pretty much told you what I would do if i had a street 240 I cared about, but all my money goes into my drift car and my street 240 is well...a point a to point b car.

...but you get the idea...keep it clean and follow through

S-series that turns the most heads? S13 vert, hands down. Mine is debadged and I get everything from "is that a vette?" to "weird looking Le-baron you got there kid". But thats mostly bc ppl are legally retarded when it comes to cars. Oh and dont get discouraged by the trolls, normally I would be right there with them and tell you to get a nissan Axxed van and do a bluebird swap but your from MD so i will cut you some slack. We are mean to everyone to filter out the weak and sensitive types.

I'm not changing my opinion. Its just that i agree with what some people have said. I'm not hear to bash what people say but i won't allow personal attacks against me either when i'm just trying to get some info or opinions. As Far as my garage..right now i'm renting one which is being used as a LEGAL chop shop. In otherwords i use the garage to dismantle cars that i buy and sell the parts on the internet. This is just a stepping stone and i will soon take on outside work to put to use the talent that i have for customizing.

Actually...that's kinda harsh...Lucy Liu is too ugly
I was going to ask... which was supposed to be better looking??

About the cars though, you have a point, but honestly, both cars are much better looking tnan all the 240s...

the S15 might give them a run, but it cannot compete in that area of pure style

Usually the only times a 240sx turns heads on the street is when:

a) something is hanging from itb) it's a piece of s***c) they're driving it wrong

aparently this thread is from the dead, but im going to say something smart here and go with it depends on where you live, because to tell you the truth out here in nyc if you see a silvia converted 240 that your friend dosent own youre lucky also kouki's and 180's. Theyre all not popular out here. But in cali, im sure no1 would double take a silvia front or kouki or 180sx, unless either of them look like what kalypso posted.

i notice this is back from the dead, does anyone know if he ever picked up a 240? if he didnt then its a good thing because we all know the first thing when buying a 240 is finding the one you love. a good example is i always wanted a coupe because i was in love with the s13 silvia but i ended up getting a hatch and because it wasnt what i really wanted i sold it, after a few months being without a 240 i found a nice coupe and bought it right away. locked up the motor 4 days after buying it and after it has been sitting for about a year is just now about to be back on the road, another ka24de is in and runs great, just need a 1 piece ds to be driving it again.

Vs. & & &

I can say I love my Z more than my 240. I like the fact that the 240 is cheaper to mod and I can take it to the track without much worrying.

You want to turn heads as in like what? Like OMG look at the ricer, or do you want the girls to be sayin "omg that car is hot I want to Fxxx the driver"

If its your second choice..Nissans are not in that category. You need to get a mustang or camero with some dumb racing stripes, shiny rims and loud exhaust. For some reason girls are attracted to that like a magnet. A good percent of women never knew nissans existed but they can tell you their past 20+ boy friends has muscle cars that were "weally weallly faaaast"

Another Great optionGet a Crotch Rocket. The bike scene also works
