i believe that guy that did the write up got it from a dealer, and it was a factory option for the 240 soo you just gotta be lucky to find one. you could also contact panda garage or some places like that that could maybe find one in japan that way your not just looking in one nation.

Thanks for the help guys. I hate not having a cup holder. A buddy of mine just cut a hole in the middle console, but that just looks like crap. I really like this idea, its just been a pain trying to find that part!

Do a search for it, there is a good write up that I used to create a cup holder in the center console like that. I went to a junkyard and found a rubber cup holder insert to use as the template. Cut a hole in the console and dropped the insert in and BAM I ended up having one BA cup holder that cost me 15 mins of time.

A search? That's how I found the one I posted about, duh lol =D

I have seen other cup holders but this one was by far the nicest and it keeps your middle console looking nice too.

if im driving and need to put a bottle somewhere instead of the crotch area, i just pull out my ashtray and set the thing in the hole where it was, it rides fine, doesnt spill.free, no need to modify.when im done i put the ashtray back.

Just bring bottles, No cups......

But that is just me, I don't like the idea of drilling into anything on the interior.

The armrest/cup holder from JDM land was different...I just sold one cause it would not work with a LHD car. Here are pictures of the difference. Notice everything is reversed.

USDM:

JDM:

I had bought it off the internet a few years ago and didn't notice the difference.

Well, after revising my search, I found a few more detailed write ups, so for anyone looking to have a CLEAN looking cup holder or two, follow the following links to check out what I found:

zerothread/304498

The first link shows how to repair a cracked arm rest as well, kind of neat.

HAHAHA. I knew it.

I got that cupholder from a Nissan only parts place in snohomish washington for $30. The place is called Feltons. They sell new and used parts. I just asked him about a cupholder while getting a distributor and he showed me that. He was the owner or manager there and could probably tell you where he got it from.

Their phone number 360)563-9315http://www.feltonautoparts.com/contact.htmHe might not remember but being as it very rare, he should remember.

And for shiits and giggles cause I want to rub it inthe "unicorn with pegasus wings"

There's the guy on here somewhere who makes them. You send your arm rest to him and for like 35/40 bucks he will put 2 cup holders or for like 20 he will put in 1 cup holder. Also he has a write up on how to do it. Just search it's on here I did it and it looks gorgeous.

Asking in an 8 year old thread is not going to net you anything you're looking for. Please hit up the classifieds.

Check eBay or your local auto salvage yard.
